I went to Trinoma yesterday Dec 21, driving my old and trusted Sorento. I used the open parking lot if ever I plan to go there early I park near the overpass kung saan kita yung Medical City Clinic. I went in 10:13am and went out 10:03pm as indicated by my stub. I was with my friends on the way out and when we approached the vehicle sabi ng kasama ko "pare, parang may umihi na aso dito sa front right side gulong mo ang panghi" sabi ko it can't be helped sometimes dogs just pass by here. Nung nahatid ko na yung mga kasama ko sa UP and when my companions got out sabi agad nila "pare maski yung gulong dito sa likod right wheel mo rin" At that time masama na yung kutob ko so I asked my friends to check the body of the vehicle out. Dun lang namin nakita ang napaka laking gasgas sa right side starting from the front fender hanggang sa dulo ng rear fender. One continous deep scratch. Pati yung rear ko di rin tinantanan. There's a 1ft big letter "A" etched on the back next to my right rear tailight. I immediately went back to the trinoma parking lot around 10:20 or 10:30 to report that to them... biro mo, pinapabayad pa ako ng ticket just have my vehicle parked there para mag complain?

We were there for an hour talking about "What could have happened?" and "paano nangyari ito" also "papaano nakapasok ang mga loko dito" I just answered, "eh kayo po ang nagbabantay dito, you tell me!"
At first the security were trying to think na "baka may naka-away ka sir at tinira yung auto mo?" I said, "that's besides the point.... ibig nyo po ba sabihin na IF EVER may kaaway ako at tinira yung sasakyan ko eh lusot na kayo? Eh ginawa yung crime sa loob ng property nyo and on your watch/shift! So what does that make you mga sirs?"

Well, they were kind enough to escort me sa Police Station to file a blotter and I have to go back later and go to the customer desk sa loob ng trinoma to file an official report.

According to the parking toll ticket "the operator shall not be liable for loss or damage to any vehicle that has been caused by the fault or neglect of the driver or 3rd party!"

    PERO eto nga ang case:
1)Di ako nag neglect, I parked properly and I activated my car alarm.
4)Negligence ng security yun because imagine the culprit had time to piss on both my tires and also vandalize my entire right side body and also my rear. Talk about adding insult to injury.
5)An accident is different from a deliberate and malicious attack.

They couldn't even give me ANY information kung sino ang manager na in-charge sa mga ganitong pangyayari...... not a name, contact number or even calling card.

I am so disappointed with Trinoma. I've been using their open parking facility for more than half a year now and there's also a reason why I park on that specific area sa open parking kasi I know na may security guard parati doon sa specific point na yun at madalas may rumoronda na naka motor.

What a lousy Xmas this is for me. Dagdag gastos tuloy. Whole body paintwork, P50k+. Experience learned, priceless!

very sad experience talaga yan bro..

Sad to hear that... Maybe the lesson is that if we want to park try parking in the covered areas. There is a higher fee but its more secure. But then again there is no guarantee it won't happen in a covered parking either...

Tsk tsk tsk.

^^TS, you write the Manager indicating that you are furnishing copies to the CEO,DTI, and the security agency. i believe that provisions like this, making Trinoma not liable in case of damage to a parked vehicle for a fee is void. just try writing them.

relay your complaints directly to the manager. it's their ploy not to give you the chance to talk with the manager, so don't just take it hook line and sinker. i was once denied audience with the manager at power plant, i was frantic, so they gave in. i was given what i wanted.

at a mall in my place, i was likewise successful in placing the management on the rocks. a certain store now has given its waiting and impatient customers with priority numbers.

don't talk with the guards, they can give you nothing.

be patient and undaunted in pursuing your claims. life is hard...even harder when you are in the Philippines.

There's a large informal settler colony behind the open parking along Mindanao Avenue and around Agham Road.
