OTEP, pwede rin bang gamitin ang headlight washer as the starter tap switch?

Use steering wheel lock like THE CLUB. Just be sure to position the keyhole towards the windshield.
You can get OEM car switches in Banawe for P50-P100.Halungkat lang katapat nyan.
Has anyone tried the Carryboy pedal locks (yung 3 locks)? That's what i'm looking at now.
Are those kill switches still effective? I'm just wondering if carnappers have found a way around it...
clip type yan di ba?Originally Posted by IceColdBeer

eto masayayung original lens ng ae92 corolla ko was stolen last DEC 24, 2001! oh devah ang saya saya! magpapasko wala akong side mirrors! lech! for 3 years nagtiis ako sa tapas na side mirrors.
what other alternatives could we do? kill switches, steering wheel lock, CB Pedal locks. what else? I really wanted to increase the security since having an alarm is not enough. It alarms people but we aren't in the U.S. where most car's alarms are connected to services where police can actually see when and where the alarm was set off.
Alarms have been useless since the early 90's like all technologies, once it gets too mainstream, nobody gives a crap about it and it's just an annoyance...

Following is a story related to me by our Ninong...
Around 11PM he was driving home along his usual route from Ayala to the Yakal area. He noticed a Corolla carrying 4 men behind him.
Out of a corner came a Terrano with police sirens signalling him to stop... Noticing the WA* series plates were private and out of sync with the vehicle model, he sensed a carnap attempt and did not yield. The Corolla tried to overtake and the passengers signalled that the Terrano was asking him to stop. He did not. Going around the San Antonio Village/P Tamo area, both vehicles tried to box him in but luckily he was able to dodge them.
Mahaba pa yung kwento nya kung san sya pasikot-sikot. To cut a long story short, he was able to escape.
Lessons learned:
1. Walang pinipiling lugar. Kala ko less ang chance sa Makati.
2. Avoid being out too late if not necessary.
3. If at all, drive quickly and always be alert.
4. Do not yield to police sirens if you know you have not done anything wrong, especially when it's a private vehicle.

Nakow thanks for the reminder. I'm one of those people who thinks na porket super late na eh safe na. I always try to be alert when driving by looking around me at mga kasabayan kong cars, but i'm the type of person who will stop when a police asks me to. So thanks.Originally Posted by the_wildthing
