Sir parang baligtad ata reaction niyo, instead of slowing down you followed that creep. Like what our fellow tsikoteers said, we should think before we act. Good thing that you and your GF are ok.

i have a suggestion for people who find themselves in this situation.

of course, it should go without saying that you should immediately get as far away as possible...he can think that he intimidated you but you shouldn't risk your own life on someone as worthless as he.

second...call the cops immediately from your cellphone and tell them you are trying to get away from an attempted carjacking and you are still in fear for your life. give them the vehicle plate number and description. with the publicity these carnap syndicates get, you hopefully should get a quick response.

this guy should be in big trouble if he gets caught, especially if the assault rifle is still in his car (weapons violation + carnapping)...and might face a serious prison sentence. ayan, bawi-bawi ka na and you didn't even risk your life or your passenger's ;)

Keep cool and keep your head low. Road rage can be a lethal thing. When this things happen, just let it go. I was in the same situation some years back although I was not driving. A blue (or was it black) BMW cut us off real mean near SM North. The driver of the FX went to the side of the Bimmer, made "pitik" and dished out some real mean expletives. At the stoplight in Munoz, the Bimmer caught us and cut us off again. The driver of the Bimmer didn't say anything: he just pointed a real big, bad revolver. I'm no gun expert but I can assure you gentlemen (and ladies) that it was a .357. My wife and I were scared shitless because we were in front. From then on, we never rode in front of an FX or any 'garage' transport unless we have to.

in my experience, malaki ang percentage na yung mga mahilig manutok at magdisplay ng firearms are those that are either fake or nananakokot lang at hindi niya kayang iputok yung baril. I also had my share of encounters coming from a family of law enforcers. sindakan lang talaga. but always be on the safe side. ako ang baon ko lagi video camera and media card na coding pass. kahit sinong abusado na parang tigre sa tapang, kapag alam na naka video sila nagiging tupa. gustong gusto pa naman ng mga news channels yung mga ganyang footage. minsan o-offeran ka pa ng pera para lang makakuha ng copy. kapag na expose na yang mga abusadong yan, kahit gaano pa kalakas ang kapit nila dine-deny sila infront of national tv dahil buking eh. and usually yung mga abusado ay hindi mga legit na law enforcers malaki ang posibilidad na mga "confidentail agents" na kumakabit lang sa mga kumpare o kaibigan na talagang nasa authority. as the saying goes: "mga langaw lang yan na naka tungtong sa kalabaw"

noteworthy, always think of your companion na lang especially in your situation gf mo pa kasama mo. enough reason na yun for you to consciously push aside your pride. ang hirap tanggapin ng feeling na nalalamangan ka na in the first place siya yung nauna. pero tanggap na lang rather than learn your lesson the hard way. mainit din ulo ko sa daan. 4th year college pa ako diyan sa up may nakaaway ako sa daan which eventually led to a case in court. until now, med na ko di pa rin tapos. hassle talaga sobra. kelangan ko mag-absent pag may hearing at siyempre bayad sa lawyer. not worth it...

Have you heard the news last month sa radio na nagyari sa sedeno st makati city. in traffic nagkainitan civic and crv nagka minor incident ata gas gas lang i think, nagalit naka civic binabaan yung crv, tinutukan yung driver, nagpakilalang anak ng general tapos kinuhayung key ng crv, so yung crv nasa gitna lang ng daan, syempre, walang susi e, nung nagdatingan mapsa nalaman yung driver is driver ni ignacio bunye susunduin asawa sa salcedo. un lag share ko.. ingat sa babanggain
