Of course, if you're realistically poor enough to need help, yet well off enough to have finished high school at a public school, your chances of passing the UPCAT are much lower than those of someone who's had access to better education. But I have had classmates who did need help and were able to get it. They were only paying maybe 2-3k per sem, and were taking jobs as Student Assistants in the library to offset their expenses.
But most of us were still rich enough to eat at McDo at least once or twice a week.
