2. Pasay PN should have requested LTO to identify the vehicle owner and address - Not Done
3. Since the address is in QC, PNP Pasay should endorse the investigation to PNP QC - Not Done
4. PNP QC should conduct the house visit and use the local assets to locate the driver - ???? PNP Pasay conducted the house visit
5. After PNP QC have custody of the driver, they will inform PNP Pasay -???? PNP Pasay failed to gain the trust of local informers, that is why they were not able to collect useful information
6. PNP Pasay to inform me that the driver is already detained and I should go to PNP QC to confirm the identity. -not expecting this will materialize
Practical na lang ako, I have a job to keep and filing a VL does not help me to impress my boss, identification of the driver is not my priority, I will not even gain a single centavo if I have him jailed, worse I have to pay for a attorney if I wish to file a case against him.
Lesson learned, the next time a similar incident should happen, dial 117 or approach any TE or Police within the vicinity.
Otherwise, just charge everything to experience and file a hit-n-run with my insurer if there is a damage.
