Just want to share a bad experience of a friend who had his car serviced by Toyota Balintawak.
Just this week, my friend had his Toyota vehicle's periodic maintenance serviced by the said Toyota center. All works are fine, and he claimed the car happy.
But upon reaching his house and inspecting the car, he discovered that the mobile phone he intentionally put under the front passenger seat (for safety reasons - tracking) was lost. This phone should be hidden and he did not declare it during the checklist.
He called up Toyota Balintawak to ask about this. Being a former NBI agent, he told the service manager that he does not want to make this a big issue anymore. Then in just a few hours, Toyota Balintawak called up and admitted to my friend that the mobile phone was taken by one of the car cleaners. My friend did not bother to take the cleaner's name anymore. The mobile phone was returned.
Guys, I'm sharing this not to create a bad reputation for Toyota Balintawak but to serve as a warning to all to take every valuable item from our cars before checking them in for service.
Yikes! Dyan pa naman ako nagpapagawa ng LC ko!! Anyway, regardless naman of what CASA always remove valuables before sending it for PMS. Iwas temptation, iwas nakaw....
