etong JMF o JME un nangungulit sakin kahpon...nagdridrive ako sa q ave kahapon ng umaga, mga 6:20am, bigla na lang namatay un kotse ko sa daan kasi kumalas un connection ng battery, so pagstop ko, binalik ko un battery connection un nga lang nag auto lock un kotse, buti hawak ko un celfon ko and nakatawag kagad ako sa bahay para dalhan ako ng key since un spare key sa wallet e naiwan din sa loob ng kotse..ayun habang naghintay wala pang 5 mins may dumating na mmda, gusto na ako ticketan, wala naman siya magawa kasi lahat ng gamit ko asa loob, at kasunod kagad nila dumating un towing ng jmf, (magkakontsaba ba tong mmda at towing na to, dahil pagdating ng towing truck umalis na un mmda, sabi sakin ng nagtotow rinadyo daw sila para pumunta dun)...aba gusto na kagad itow un sasakyan, e wala ng 10 mins dadating na un dad ko, sinisilip silip na un ilalim kung san nila pwede ikabit un pang tow, ankulit sobra, matic pa man din un dala ko..sabi ko maghintay sila, tapos sumasagot pa ayun sa likod daw nila hahatakin, sabi ko maghintay nga sila dahil padating na un susi ko, hirit na naman un gago sabi kung bmw nga daw hinahatak nila, bakit daw di nila pwede hatakin un sasakyan ko...sabi ko muka bang bmw yan sasakyan ko at may sira ba yan, susi lang un kulang ata padating na..basta sa pagtatalo namin dumating na din un dad ko, pag bigay sakin ng susi hinigpitan lang nmin un connection sa battery at sumibat na kagad dun..grabe tong towing na to mukang gagawin lahat para mahila lang un sasakyan

I had the unfortunate experience of my car breaking down in SLEX. I was almost at the San Pedro Exit and had to park it at the side due to overheated engine.It was around 8PM & I also had the my wife and kids along.
It did not take ten minutes for the Patrol Car to come and they assisted me by giving water Then the Tow Truck arrived and when after cooling down the engine, the Towing Crew helped in checking the engine. Kaso bumigay na yung cylinder head gasket ko so I had no other choice but to have the car towed.
My point is, the SLEX Cops & Towing crew gave all the assistance needed before towing the vehicle unlike some rougue towing crews.

JMF mga gago yan..wag kayo papaloko sa mga animal na yan!! Sa QC bawal ang towing as per DPOS(dept of public order and safety) of QC cityhall di ko alam kung baket andiyan pa mga yan..Puwede niyo kasuhan ng carjacking yan mga gagong yan pag tinow kayo!!

if not, you can threaten to file a carnapping case against the towing firm.

Sa taas ng flyover ng C5 may tumirik na Corolla driven by a middle aged lady. Ginawa ko hinintuan ko. Nung nagkakabit ako ng pang-hila, biglang may humintong tow truck humarang sa harap ng sasakyan ko.

Akala ko lalagyan din ako ng pang-hatak. Sabi ko na lang tita ko yung nasiraan, ibaba ko lang dun sa gas station sa paa ng flyover.

Hindi talaga umalis yung tow truck hangga't hindi nila nakitang kaya kong hataking yung Corolla. :lol: Mukhang nagbabaka-sakali pa.

Towing crew booked for carjacking

A timely report to the police by a mother led to the arrest of four men who forcibly towed her daughter’s stalled car in Quezon City early Wednesday night.

The four were charged with carjacking for taking the car away despite protests from its owner.

Superintendent Bernabe Balba, District Intelligence Investigation Division (DIID), issued a general alarm after STAR employee Melita Dioso reported that a Toyota Corolla sedan driven by her son, Regidor, was forcibly taken by four men in a tow truck.

He was accompanied by his brother Duke, their sister, Christine, and her husband Kristoffer.

The car had developed engine trouble along Commonwealth Avenue at around 7 p.m. Four men alighted from a tow truck, owned by JMF Towing Service, as the driver tried to restart the engine. The tow truck had no license plate.

The four – Santiago Sera, 25; Arsenio Garcia Jr., 38; Louie Jay Manalo, 18; and Juanito Cartoner, 41 – took over and took the car away, with Regidor and Christine in it, and left the two others behind. The two at first ran after the truck and then managed to get a taxi.

Christine phoned her mother at the STAR for help. She reported her location as the tow truck continued to speed away. Dioso in turn called the Quezon City Police District for assistance and Balba called a citywide alarm.

Police "choke points" – set up in key areas as part of QCPD chief Senior Superintendent Magtanggol Gatdula’s new crime prevention strategy – were alerted for the tow truck.

A police car spotted the truck along Commonwealth 10 minutes after the alarm was called and the truck was ordered to pull over. Instead, the truck sped up towards Fairview Market, prompting the police cruiser to give chase and call for backup.

Other police cars responded and intercepted the truck, cornering the four men. Anti-carjacking operatives led by Inspector Nicolas, chief of the QCPD anti carjacking unit, arrested the four and brought them to the headquarters for questioning.

The four asked for a settlement after they were slapped with carjacking charges. The victim’s family is currently considering whether or not to pursue the case.

Motorists interviewed by the STAR said illegal towing remains rampant in Metro Manila despite complaints from the public. Car thieves are also known to pose as tow truck crews. "You just alight from your car, you’ll get towed," according to one taxi driver.

Buti ka pa binigyan ng tubig. Kami nung nawalan kami ng gas sa coastal, buti

na lang at naitabi pa namin sa shoulder, nakipag away pa yung mama ko sa

tow truck, (bata pa ako nung mga 4th year high school. hehe) kasi nga

tinawagan na namin yung tita ko at nagdala na sya ng gas. tapos ayaw

tumigil nung crew at itotow daw nila, ang ginawa nung mama ko nilabas nya

yung clutch to steering wheel lock at sinabi nya, "subukan nyo lumapit sa

kotse ko, hahampasin ko kayo nito!"

Yun, hindi nga lumapit, at within 10 mins. dumating na yung tita ko. at

nakalais na kami.
