Too many PASAWAY motorcycle RIDERS on the street

This morning on Paseo de Roxas, green lahat ng stoplight pero hindi ako makahabol dahil tabi tabi sa tatlong lane ang mga motor na napakakupad magpatakbo.

Honestly, I'd go the other direction.

I'd make helmets for motorcyclists not mandatory, but optional only. Those who still opt for helmets will be required to have them registered and will need to have an ID number on the helmet. (That or be extremely strict about motorcycle registration and license plates.)

Think of the consequences. The real true-blue bikers will prefer to have their helmets registered and wear them while riding because they are have brains and common sense.

The idiots on 2-wheels, on the other hand, wouldn't wear those helmets at all. That way, when they do get in an accident, it'll be one less dumbass on the road. You take out the bad seeds in the motorcycle community and car drivers are happier because of lesser moroncyclists on the road.

Everybody wins.

Well, not exactly.

While I agree the responsible riders will go for helmets and wear them for obvious common sense and personal safety, you're forgetting that it's the morons who shun helmets and ride like crazy that get into accidents AND involve cage riders who are just at the wrong place at the wrong time. So, though this does somewhat remove the jack*$$es on the road by literally killing them off, sadly there's a possibility that they don't do it without involving a cage rider.

Kaya daw sila nagpapapalit ng tambucho, para maingay at mapansin daw ng mga cage riders at hindi sila maipit. *#$!#*% kung luminya sana at wag siksik ng siksik at singit ng alanganin, eh di walang nadisgrasya!
