The LTO should really make a lot of license holders retake the exams. I can imagine a lot of riders and even 4-wheeled drivers would fail and thus won't be able to drive thereby lessening traffic. I have always said driving is a privilege and not a right so it shouldn't be just given to anyone. The would-be driver should prove first that they know all the rules and regulations on driving and prove it with both a written and practical driving exam.

I dread for the day na ganito na rin karami motorsiklo dito sa atin sa Metro Manila.
(Slightly OT) From the comments:
My friends and I actually learned that if you wanted to cross the street, you should just start walking and bikes and cars will funnel around you. Super scary, but it worked!Last edited by gearhead000; July 14th, 2013 at 10:34 AM.

Just a while ago on sta. rosa road, a group of big bikes were qued up and passing the cars one by one. They were waiting for the road to open so they could safely pass and merge in front of cars properly. In the midst of it all, this idiot underbone squeezes at right side of the cars to get ahead. Happy siguro si mokong at naka-overtake daw siya ng mga big bikes.

Usually, it is the underbone riders who are dangerous on the road since they're undisciplined and not knowledgeable about traffic rules and most likely don't even know how to properly drive their 2-wheeled vehicle. Funny thing I find is that the cheaper the bike, the more chances it'd be modified.

I rode bikes for more than 10 years from 50cc up to 1000cc....
And I agree that most of the undicipline riders are those in smaller displacements (underbones) not all of course but most...
A reason I see for this is that most have never driven a car and dont know what is involved in controlling and manouvering an automobile. We cant stop on a dime like motorcycles... if only thy knew that one split seocnd slip of the gas or brake pedal could have turned them into mincemeat... they might be a little more careful...
Lucky for me.. since I have riding experience... I can sort of telegraph that the rider plans to do.... but every so often.... i still go wooooosaaaaa......

Kahapon around past 6pm on our way home, kanto ng molino and camella springville gate waited for my turn to turn left and while turning left to enter the village, suddenly this underbone still tried to muscle his way in. Considering nakastop na lahat ng nasa harap ko na nagive way at ang nguso ng kotse ko pasok na sa entrada. Ayun muntik bumangga sa akin.
Nakatikim din sya sa akin ng matinding PI hehejej
