The Montero was getting out of the parking. Its a one way street so it makes it easier sa kanan ka titingin... Kaso di tumingin yung Montero labas na lang ayun may Civic pa la lakas ng impak. Lesson, tumingin muna bago lumabas. The Civic in this case has the right of way...

Both of them zeroed in one spot. ayaw kasi magbigayan e.. kung tumingin si monty sa right maiwasan niya yun (stop, look at your right & left) at para kay civic caution naman pag may kanto. eto mga rules tinuro sa akin ng daddy ko strict kasi yun pulis kasi, afaik nasa exam din yun sa lto nung kumuha ako.. 10 yrs ago (kung dumaan sila dun) defensive driving is always the best. ingat na lang po tayo.

i doubt na mabilis yung montero kung palabas talaga sya galing parking or akala nya siguro mag give way yung civic. parang yung civic kasi bumangga dun sa pagkakakupi ng metal parts. dapat talaga doble ingat na lang po tayo

It's the Civic driver's fault.

The montero clearly already had the right of way. Nagpilit lang yung Civic sa makipot na space. Stupid driver will now pay repair costs of a brand new car.

A brainless mistake that could've been avoided by waiting less than 5 seconds.

right way or not, the civic driver's fault was not having the courtesy to consider giving way to the montero that was on his way. . .how could a press on the brakes pedal at that time considerably delay his travel?as for the driver of the monty, his fault was was not looking to the right if that was the case. . .or, maybe he did but went ahead, anyway, thus committing the same fault as the driver of the civic

a good principle we motorists should always remember when in the streets: some rights are worth dying for. the right of way is not one of them


on some of the posts in this thread, let's avoid generalizing people. . .we cannot tell the people and their characters in this accident just by looking at the picture. . .

Yeah the Civic is on public road and the Montero is coming out from a private road. Mali nga yung Montero kasi nag pa police report na sila. I was at the scene and inamin ng MS owner (yung matanda) yung Civic yung bata naka shades.

its still better to look both ways (left and right) before proceeding kahit one-way street pa ito. sometimes there are people who go against the flow of traffic (counterflow) lalo na yung mga naka motorsiklo o bike (maraming ganito). kala nila exempt sila sa batas trapiko. kaya ingat lang tayo.
