The traffic condition keeps worsening here, and nearby areas (Sta. Rosa) during these seasons, were the road network and traffic management system could no handle the swarm of motorists.

Last thursday, it was a good 3-4hours just going through Tagaytay via Sta. Rosa. Easter Sunday will definitely be the worst. For those of us who need to pass through this area, we just have to endure it.

For those who have choices on where else to go, recommend not to waste your weekend in this terrible Tagaytay traffic on summer weekend, especially this holy week.

    You have been warned.

Will try to post pics. Will probably goon squad all those vehicles counterflowing like crazy.

Every weekend traffic sa rowena's. yung mga guard nila walang pakialam sa ibang motorist. Ang important sa guard nila is makalabas pasok mga bibili. Kaya traffic parati sa rowena's.

We stopped going to tagaytay pag may mga long weekends na. 100% sure na traffic. Not worth it na

Oo traffic talaga bandang Rowena's lalo na kapag peak season.

Naalala ko dati pumunta ako Tagaytay ng Jan 1 pucha gabi na hindi pa rin ako nakarating sa sobrang traffic, nag-u Turn nalang ako pabalik ng Maynila and swore never to go back to Tagaytay during holidays and peak seasons.

Can't wait for the Cabuyao/Silangan - Tagaytay Road to open. Exit is somewhere near the Palace in the Sky, according to the Alveo people.

This passes through the Republic Wakepark and the soon to be developed Venare Mall.

At least this by-passes the Sta Rosa-Tagaytay Road and the numerous residences/establishments along the way.

unless sa highland/midland, crosswind area ka lang that will be a good alternative route but kung papunta ka pa rin ng taal vista and yun mga commercial areas eh dadaan ka pa rin ng rotonda..traffic pa rin

Yes, like your whole windshield is a blur....
Experienced that too last end of December from Tagaytay to Sta Rosa night driving from a wedding.

If one is heading to Calatagan/Batangas, is it better to take the STAR - Batangas City - Lemery route during peak times?
I would recommend via Tagaytay bro. From slex, exit at carmona and turn left at maguyam road. It will bring you to Silang and back to Aguinaldo hi way.... Which leads you back to tagaytay....

Or cross Aguinaldo Hi way near Riviera Golf Club. the road will lead you (by turning left) to a parallel national road passing by the town of amadeo. You will hit tagaytay road near Taal Vista Hotel...

I was sort of there last Good Friday. Thinking that traffic wont be that bad during that day, I decided to go there coming from the town of Taal as I did my visita iglesia rounds. As I turned from Canyon woods, traffic na kaagad. Daming nag-counterflow sa dirt road on the other lane. Feeling it was a hopeless situation, I turned left into the Alphonso-Indang road para balik na lang sa Maynila. Di tuloy ako nakabili ng fruits at gatas.

Kakagaleng ko lang kanina ng Tagaytay. From Pasig nag skyway ako ang exit ko Sta. Rosa.
