    Sorry to hear about what happened. At least, you did the right thing in going to the authorities instead of taking the law into your hands.

    Anyway, just a piece of advice. If you know how to get in touch with that kid who saw how the driver tried to run you down and how he threw his balisong, get his sworn statement ASAP. Baka bumaligtad pa yan during the presentation of witnesses. Mahirap na.

    by the way the taxi driver tried disposing of the knife... mukhang sanay sa kalokohan... BM always check on the case... kung kelangan just call my uncle...

    also get his address and his operators address nga pala... para ma pa check... di natin alam kung ano nasa utak ng mga yan baka rumesbak... at picturan pala. post mo na rin din kung ma picturan...para makilala namin at maikalat sa ibang tao na dangerous yang kumag na yan

    extra careful kayong mag-anak. lalo na sa bahay pag wala ka. kung meron sa inyo, abisuhan mo mga tanod, baranggay officials, security guards about it and have them watch your place with extra vigilance. pwede ring ipa-blotter mo na rin where you are staying. para naka-record na sa mga lespu.

    mahirap kaaway ang di mo kilala. so tama yung advice nila. know the background of this nut.

    and tuluyan mo ang mokong na yan.

    The taxi operator was there. And in fairness, he was a friendly guy. At first I did not know he was the operator and he asked, "Pre ano ba nangyari? Baka pwede ninyong pagusapan na lang?" When I told him what happened and informed him it would be an injustice not to throw this psycho in jail, he nodded with approval. He never insisted with a settlement anymore. In short, mukang may pinag aralan naman.
