Wouldn't it be poetic justice if the national government stepped in with the army to settle this? And then declare Taguig an independent municipality/town, so both sides get nothing.

Too true. I think what the guy in pink wanted was to get everyone's faces in focus. Funny too how they were all "plump." I always find it amusing when "plump" law enforcers start running (more like brisk walking).

Something for both sides to consider: BGC is supposed to be a business district. Business cannot be conducted when people start brawling in the streets, or, wag naman sana, start shooting at each other. They keep this up, businessmen may eventually say "to hell with the low corporate tax", pack up and leave. And nobody gets anything.

i passed by BGC recently after the longest time, nice to see lots of buildings being put up, you feel that it's getting somewhere. Wag naman sana masayang.

And a lot of those businesses/buildings were put up there... to escape Makati (and its taxes).

not just taxes, but all of the hassle of getting permits for everything. pretty much every move you make in makati needs a permit and of course lagay para mas mabilis ang process.

AFAIK, the CA's decision hasn't become final and executory since the City of Taguig has filed either an MR or an appeal. Diba hawak ni Mar ang PNP under DILG? Tanggalan kaya niya ng close-in security tong si Nognong Jr.
