Strangers leaning/touching/making tambay on your car....

How can you prevent this from happening, besides having to park really far away from all the people?...

anong mall yan, na may tambay? baka sa free parking, usually yung mga drivers makikita mo sila. andun din.

usually maraming tambay sa mga iskinita, sa public places. pag sa lugar na ganyan, talagang di maiiwasan na sandalan yan, at doonpa magku-kuwentuhan. pag ganyan, huwag ka nang magtagal pa, balik na lang ka'gad at sumibat na.

or, sabi nga ng iba....park ka sa pay parking, at maglakad ka na lang sa destination mo.

or park ka sa ilalim nang araw yung mainit na mainit.. yan walang tatambay dyan..

If I can't find any suitable parking spots, I leave.
If may gimmick, I send an apology to my friends.
Since kilala na nila yung ugali ko, they understand.

By the way, keeping your car dirty / clean won't help.
Dati madumi yung kotse ko. When I came back, may nakasulat sa dust na "Please clean me."
Nung isang beses naman, kakaka 3-step detail ko lang...super kinis. When I came back, may greasy finger writing, "Kintab"
Walang ligtas!

ako date na experience ko rin yan, kase middle side of sm parking lot, so hindi kita, lagi may dikit marks. so ginawa ko, after mass, maaga pa lang, nasa sm na ako, naka park na rin ako sa ilalim ng shade, sa tapat mismo ng guard, lookers na lang ngayon...kalaban ko na lang, mga bopols na basta basta magbukas ng pinto, may isang dimple na yung sasakyan ngayon...pag yung luma naman gamit ko, same procedure, mas dikitin yun kase dark green compared to white, pag marumi, wala naman nakikialam, nakakainis lang pag basa, hinahawakan, pambasa nila ng kamay.

ang nakakainis talaga, nasa stop light ka, may kakapit sa salamin, o may pupunas sa salamin.

Park far away from pedestrian traffic, e.g., in malls, park far from the entrances, at office or work, park at the farthest slot.

In some places its worse if you park a dirty car, kids will write all over it with their fingers. No choice talaga sa Pilipinas, minsan even in nicer neighborhoods may naliligaw din na regular Pinoy with no sense of respect for someone else's property and space.

What I hate most is when I fill-up for gas and the gasoline boy rests his other hand on the car while inserting the nozzle in the gas tank. They don't realize that handprints leave smudge marks that ruins the shine of one's car. I guess it's a guy thing. Most men want their cars always clean and shiny with hardly any scratches. Makes me remember a car sticker from the old Mad Magazine days which says: "You touch my car, I break your face." They say that a car is the extension of one's manhood, so I'm always extra careful not to touch other cars even in crowded parking places.
