Stop line violation?!

Eto kuha ng dashcam ni misis:

video: Somevid

Meron daw siyang violation dahil dapat daw before the pedestrian lane siya huminto. Obvious naman na ang laki ng space sa pagitan ng pedestrian lane saka yellow box. Kapag doon ka huminto hindi ka sagabal sa pedestrian at hindi ka pa rin lagpas sa yellow box.

Tingin nyo violation ba talaga?

Agree ako kung nasa ibabaw ng pedestrian lane nakahinto pero hindi iyan nakasagabal sa pedestrian lane dahil ang laki ng space sa pagitan ng ped lane at yellow box.

Violation pero halos hindi yan hinuhuli.

If the rules are to be followed, cars should stop before the line to allow space for pedestrians to cross. Doon dapat sila sa maraming linya tatawid.

Violation yan. VEHICLES MUST STOP BEFORE THE LIMIT LINE. Pag lampas ka sa limit line violation na yun. Try mo gawin yan sa US or europe baka sipain pa ng pedestrians ang kotse mo.

If that's the case then may bagong natutunan kami. Ang lagi kasing sinisigurado eh yung hindi lumagpas sa yellow box at hindi makasagabal sa pedestrian lane. Alanganin kasi ang lugar na yun eh.

Kung talagang ayaw nila na may huminto doon sa boxed area sana sinakop na lang nila ng pedestrian lane o kaya yellow box para malinaw sa lahat.

Not that many PH drivers are well versed in basic street markings and traffic signs. Basta maka kambyo at mag preno, pwede ka nang kumuha ng lisensya...

The yellow box is to keep the intersection open for other cars. The white lines are for the pedestrians naman...

based on the video, the distance from the yellow box to the pedestrian lane is more than one car length, is this really a traffic violation?

and by the way, was the motorcycle rider also issued a ticket? he was clearly over the yellow box!!!
