    Brader...

Come to think of it: Nobody force us to listen to a radio station if they aired such program that we don't like...Kung ayaw natin pakinggan then so be it...but we canno't force them not to air such nonsense program if that's their way to be no. 1.

About the social responsibility...as what i said, if that's the way for those radio station to be no. 1, then so be it, in fact this program are closely monitored, if the department found out that the program is not suitable for general patronage, they will straight away order to stop the operation just like what happen to "showtime".

Have you been in a commedy bar? if you do then this is the same gimmik this DJ's do, to ammuse the listeners. This is the social responsibility that some radio station try to do to get their ratings.

Kung may bata o minor na makakarinig then it is the parents guidance. Kung ayaw natin makinig then change the station...plain and simple. By the way! di na natin kelangan pang bantayan ang ating mga kids 24/7 to listen with the radio program, dahil di naman sila gising 24/7...

ako naman, i'm ok with good times with mo na program in general. medyo off lang sa tingin ko yung pagiging OA ni grace lee sa conservatism (kuno) niya. ang medyo di ko masakyan eh yung boys night out sa gabi. di entertaining sa tingin ko kase kulang sa eloquence yung mga host para maging radio talk show yung program nila. but that's just my opinion. others may find them ok.

Have any of you listened to the "shock jocks" in the US??????

Our DJ's pale in comparison to them!!!

It's all a matter of choice really... If there's none to be had on the airwaves, turn on your mp3 player, pop in a CD or (gasp!!) a cassette. Better yet, turn off the head unit altogether and listen to the road noise...

Someone said this line before: "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.".

Yes...you are right! there is pros and cons. The link you post is just a guidelines.

Do you think the department who approved the program to be on air and the radio station is not aware of this? Yes they are!

This is the reason why most of the TV station before airing such program, they put a warning rating to classify the which viewers are allowed and a parental guidance warning is posted for minors. This will also be helpful so that minors are aware of what is the reality in this world.

It binds the relationship of parents and kids...Why! We parents has the obligation to teach and guide our minors of what's happening based on the program we listen or view and it help us to illustrating our kids what is good and what is not good to do or to say.

This may be an OT but may have some points with this thread...

Ayon sa aking mahiwagang bubwit...eto po ang meaning ng "CHORVAH" for everyone's information...

** CHORVAH has its etymology from the Greek word cheorvamus meaning "for lack of the right word to say", or "in place of anything you want to express but cannot verbalize". Ibig sabihin pala, siya ay parang "aloha" sa wikang Hawaiiano, which can mean many, many things.

"Chorvah" can be used as: Noun: "ano" / "kwan" / "or something"

Chorvah is such an amazing word, it lets you choose your own adventure. At
least you will never be accused of putting words in somebody else's mouth.
If you don't have anything to say, or you can't find the right word to say,
or you want to say something but you don't know how to say it, just say
    CHORVAH!
