What does that say about the mayors (Atienza, Lim, Erap) and the authorities in Manila? Puro inutil?
In fact, 90's pa, dami ng snatcher sa area na ito. Isang colleague ko nadale na diyan.
Evil triumphs and thrives, it seems.
Kawawa naman tayo.
The best the city officials and other bright minds in Manila can do is put up a motel-sponsored tarpaulin warning that crime exists in the area. 
Eto litrato ng isang snatcher walking (not running) casually away after niya biniktima yung delivery van pahinante 3 cars in front of mine. Hindi ko lang sure kung may nakuha siya sa bilis ng panyayari. Parang wala lang naglalakad afterwards yung kriminal.
Wala bang CCTV sa area?

September 10th, 2015 07:23 AM #5Laki ako sa lugar na yan. May maliit pulis station na nakatago before turning right to quirino from osmena.
Walang CCTV diyan. The thing is, kung kilala mo chairman sa lugar na yan - siguradong maibabalik ung ninakaw sa iyo.
Ani magagawa ng pulpolitiko - eh yan bumubuhay sa kanila kaya pati pulis wala na din magawa.
"Typical na dahilan" pano namin huhulihin wala naman nagrereklamo.
