When I sold my car for higher than average market value and buyers asked, I answered. The car was in better condition than other units for sale.

When I sold my phone for lower than market value and buyers asked, I answered as well. The phone had quite a lot of scratches and battery life was not as good as it used to be.

Simple as that. You're selling something at an unusual price, people are bound to ask. If you're a decent seller, you answer as straightforwardly and honestly as you can.

Kaya nga sabi ko sa nagsasabing scam ako magfile ng case against me para malaman sino nagsasabi ng totoo at magpakilala sya.... Sa dami ng mga naka transact ko bakit itong nag iisang tao na ayaw magpakilala biglang magsasabing scam ako then sabay sakay naman ang iba... Kung naka transact kita or nag inquire ka sakin ng personal sasagutin kita.... For almost 5yrs bakit iilan lang ang nakakabasa dito at nagcomment.... Wala ako business sa inyo para sagutin ko kayo.... Mga buyers din kau and sometimes mismong car ninyo binebenta ninyo bakit hindi ibang dealership sa labas ang tanungin ninyo.... Ilang beses ko na sinabi meet me in person then or file a case against me pero hindi nila kayang humarap kase alam nila ang balik sa kanila.... Magpost kau dito kung may excistkng case na ako or meron na ako na client na na scam.... Hindi yung magpopist sa social media ayaw naman magpakilala....

On a 7m peso car, the profit margin is usually around 1m, give or take. That will allow the dealer to offer discounts up to 500k without burning themselves.

There are three ways to give a 2m discount for a 7m car.

Either you're selling a customs auction car. Which is totally legit. And it's no big secret, so sharing that you are an auction buyer-seller is no big deal.

or you're selling a stripper model that's not as well equipped as the local one... in which case, 4.99m is just about believable if you don't care about making money. And is no big deal to admit. Then again... legit gray importers don't bother selling strippers. They can't sell them for as low as legit dealers nowadays, so they focus on limited editions and special cars.

OR you're not paying the VAT (just under 1m) or excise taxes (just under 2m) on the car. Which is a big deal.
