Did you send your money through check/wire transfer/western union? If so, there's little you can do to recuperate your money, but if you want to do something, I suggest you tag up with other complainants and file a case.

Hmm, I also wonder why he's so hard to find as a lot of his "clients" (more like victims) have been to his shop/home, I believe.

as above, if you want to go OEM-style, get a "spare tyre lock". but i use an ordinary cheap...
