Rugby Boys/Snatchers/Kuyog in EDSA-Shaw underpass NorthBound

Every evening from 6-9PM, you will notice this rugby boys in the center island and when they see their target mostly taxis, they will gang up all its doors and open it and snatch whatever they can get from the passengers.

Be careful and always have all your doors locked. Mostly they are targeting taxis and shuttles. I have witnessed about three incidents already. Gang up snatching is done when the traffic is almost at stand still.

I wonder why Mandaluyong authorities does nothing to get this youngster out of that center island?

Maybe they are benefitting themselves. Since those clowns are not doing anything to solve the problem, it gives us lots of theories to think about. Either they are inept (and should be kicked out then replaced) or they are part of the crime.

may mga bata umaakyat sa mga open na truck para kumuha ng kahit ano... anything na pwede ibenta sa junk shop.

Meron din pupunta sa ilalim ng truck para tanggalin ang spare tire

i think there's a similar thread involving 3 of these so called rugby boys, but this happened on the other side in between megamall and shagrila, same routine when traffic is at still they will do their dirty deeds.

The reason I put RUBGBY BOYS was, at around 5:30 they will start to have rugby session at the center island and at around 6-9PM they will start their gang up snatching.

Be watchful, you can always see this youngster at the center island from EDSA crossing to Cubao.

Last night they were at the Megamall side, wala silang pinipili kahit anong lane ka pa, the taxi in front of me was on the center lane when they do the gang up snatching.

They do the gang up snatching after you passed by, so be watchful after you passed by this gang of youngster.

My only worries was, if this thing goes on and on, they might resort to some more troubles to motorist like bumping your car or throwing hard objects.

just remind your wives/gfs/mothers/sisters about this modus operandi. yesterday, my wife told me that the taxi driver kept on looking for her bag thru the rear windshield mirror. she told me that it was one of those times she is sensing something bad.

naalala ko tuloy ang thread na'to. her route was from cubao edsa to galleria. if the taxi drivers are accomplice, bale-wala if passengers lock their doors.

Tonight at 6:55PM witnessed again gang up snatching for the 4th time.

A corolla big body taxi with woman inside, good thing all doors where closed and locked but the woman seems very terrified. I kept on honking until these boys let go and went back to the center island.

Syempre nag-ingat din ako diba kase kung masagasaan mo sila, ikaw pa rin ang may sala kahit na ba mga adik yan sa rugby, pedestrian pa rin yan at kahit na bawal ang pedestrian sa EDSA.
