The white Santa fe that was involved in the road rage with a black roof called PANORAMIC SUNROOF is a standard equipment for 4x4 variant local santa fe but after meticulous inspection of the pictures, I discovered that this car doesn't have a real sunroof, its only painted black or covered with black sticker. I'm certain about this information because I own this kind of vehicle. The real panoramic sunroof is a glass roof that extends from windshield all the way to the back, 2 inches before the rubber antenna. But this one, the whole roof is black except the rear spoiler and even the shape of the corrugated metal roof is also visible in the picture. This might just help the father in locating the abussive gunman. Don't search for the 4x4 variant

CCTV footage may reveal road rage shooter
    December 11, 2013 8:58pm

Newly discovered closed circuit television (CCTV) camera footage may hold the key to identifying the motorist who shot a nine-year-old girl in road rage incident last week.

This is because the plate number of the white Hyundai Sta. Fe sports utility vehicle (SUV) being driven by the motorist is visible in the footage obtained by GMA News Wednesday.

In a report aired on “24 Oras,” reporter Cesar Apolinario said the footage was taken from a CCTV camera installed at a house near M.H. Del Pilar St. in Barangay Bungad, Quezon City, where the incident occurred.

Apolinario said the Hyundai's full plate number may be read using high-tech equipment if the video is played frame-by-frame.

GMA News obtained two versions of the footage: one showing the vehicle facing the camera and one showing the SUV's rear portion.

According to the report, the owner of the newly-discovered video footage has expressed willingness to help resolve the case.

Authorities and the family of the nine-year-old girl shot by the still-at-large driver have been experiencing difficulty identifying the SUV’s driver since the vehicle’s plate number was not visible in the video footage taken from CCTV cameras installed on the street.

The victim’s family has turned to social media for help in finding the driver.

The father said that according to doctors, a bullet hit his daughter's liver and a kidney. She is still in intensive care recovering from surgery.

In his latest interview with GMA News, the victim’s father said he has received a tip that the SUV’s driver might be a Filipino-Chinese.

He added that he remains hopeful that the police will be able to obtain information about the vehicle from the Land Transportation Office (LTO).

Pwede nilang puntahan yung LTO para doon,” he said.

He said the family has yet to file charges against the SUV’s owner since they are busy taking care of the girl at the hospital.

Officials at the Quezon City Police District 2, which handles the case, said they have turned over empty slugs recovered at the crime scene to the Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory at Camp Crame for ballistic examination.

The police added that they are currently coordinating with Hyundai Motors Philippines to identify the owners of white Hyundai Sta. Fe SUVs who purchased the vehicle recently. — Xianne Arcangel/BM, GMA News

Why ask Hyundai to provide a list of newly purchased SF? Don't the police know it takes almost a year to get plates these days?

Sa TV Patrol the dad was interviewed nakalabas na pala anak niya from the hospital.

Just imagine, hyundai accent na walang auto dimming mirror, tapos may naka high beam sa likod mo (worst is sabog pa yung kalat ng ilaw from the hl).

feeling kasi nila tama ginagawa nila (this is one example). in short walang disiplina asal skwater mag drive (that reflects narin na parang walang pinag aralan o ba't sila nag kasasakyan ng mahal).

i got the point na dapat pinalampas nalang nung accent driver yung high beam, but we never know what came to his mind na ibaba yung window nya. it sucks to read speculations and some transpiring like blame / fault of the accent driver when in fact, the root cause is this freaking high beam (nakakainis) at yung pamamaril.

    just my thought guys, peace

Kasalubong po ng Accent yung Santa Fe. Wala sa likod ng Accent yung SF.

Buhayin ko lang tong thread na to. Ano naba nangyari dito? It just so happens kasi na may nakapark na white SF with 'panoramic roof' dito sa centris parking at the time of writing this.

one quick flash = i give you right of way, you may now proceed...
two, one second flash = you are at high beam and i am being blinded, put it down...
two or more quick flashes = i have right of way and its dangerous for me to stop now, so you stop...
