    Exactly!
Pag kasalubong signal once with high beam. Maybe twice.

    Ngayon siguro nagsisisi sya.

Gary Q is not the only one who does HID retrofit.

That's the thing with these online posts, usually one-sided to gain sympathy. No matter how hot headed or arrogant a person is, you don't shoot at people just because you were told politely to lower your beam. What was the point? The cars were already beside each other when victim complained so no use except to show arrogance as well. Still, it does not justify shooting. What's happening to the world we live in?

what made you think the dad politely told the guy about the high beam?

you need to reach a high level of irritation to confront another motorist verbally

at that point anything that comes out of your mouth will unlikely sound polite

nobody said the shooting was justified

but the dad brought it upon himself

if he just let it pass he and his family would go on with their lives

now their lives are disrupted coz of the dad's lapse of judgement

may makakasalubong ka naka high beam every night

    that's life

    no big deal

Um, you're misinterpreting my post. We have the same line of thought.

Hindi kaya may baril din si daddy?
    Nagkaunahan lang ng bunot?

How come sinabihan ka lang mamamaril ka na? Unless lasheng or sabog sa drugs?

    One sided kasi ang story.

What i like sa tsikot hindi kagaya agad sa social media ang comments na kampi agad dun sa nag share ng kwento.

I agree. This is what makes tsikot different from other forums in that people here won't just side with a person just because they were first to post their story online. Unfortunately, I find people are taking to social media to post whatever happens to them and the story is publicly tried in favour of the first one who posted with all the "bleeding hearts" quick to judge the "victimizer."

At 4am in the morning, I'd keep all my doors locked and my windows sealed shut and this dad rolls down his window to confront a total stranger about something as trivial as bright headlights. Boy... maybe he's from somewhere else where it is safe to just confront people anytime at that ungodly hour.

4am? You DO NOT confront anyone at that time. Sobrang taas ang chance na questionable state and makakaharap mo.

Well, I have some insight kung bakit lagi naka highbeam mga SUVS. Pansin ko kasi from the driver's pov na nagmumukang bitin yung ilaw due to the higher driver position, your low beam might light up equally as a sedan's but you see a bit farther kaya parang kulang.

    btt:

glad to hear that the kid is now stable.

it is true that there are always two sides to a story and we should hold pronouncing judgment pending clarification...though the act of shooting makes things way worse than what it should be.

Works both ways: For the father, we know what he's going through now. For the shooter, look at where Rolito Go is now and has been for the past years.

We need to be careful when flashing also. Happened several times that I flashed approaching vehicle with high beam on and turns out it was a police car.

Story like this, mas naging pasensyoso ako sa daan. kahit yung ganti ng high beam di ko na ginagawa. You'll never know kung may baril or mainit ulo ng kabilang panig.

One more thing, familiar ako dyan sa m.h. del pilar barangay bungad. Yung road dyan kung galing ka ng project 7 e paakyat then medyo mag-taper down pag andun ka na sa corner before roosevelt. So a vehicle coming from roosevelt might think that the other vehicle coming from project 7 has his high beams on. Madami times ako na-flash ng high beam dyan at ginagawa ko e i either flash my high beams or turn off and on my head lights to show the other driver that i already have my low beams on. Baka misinterpret nung daddy kala nya naka high beam e low beam na pala. Yan kasi ang route ko going to frisco to skip the traffic at munoz market, pass ako bago bantay, then proj 7, then m. h. del pilar then roosevelt.

+1 uphill-downhill-y area ang area na yan.

kahit police yan ipa-flash ko yan. hehe

How can this irresponsible, arrogant person own a gun! I believe guns should be owned to protect life and not to bring harm.
LOL. How can this irresponsible, arrogant person have a family! I believe families should be protected and not be brought harm.
anyways, what kind of father would start an altercation with another motorist with his wife and kid in the car. ang maling gawain ng matanda ay tama sa mata ng mga bata. or something like that, you know from this very old advertisement.

kung si tatay driver ang binaril he won't get sympathy from me. kaso anak nyang di naman kasali. irresponsible father.

but still, the end does not justify the means. di naman pala sharpshooter, kalabit pa ng kalabit.

Dati nga may salubong akong kotse naka high beams. Wang wang! Quezon city's finest pala. Buti na lang di ako dinampot.

that's the problem we have.. the rule of LAW. and sometimes civilians put the law on their hands because no one is properly implementing and if there is, they are just the same as those idiots on the road that have next to nothing when it comes to proper implementation of law. how will the enforcers implement the law if they do not know the law?

the actions of the father does not give the right for the armed man to use his gun. that guy is a coward... he should have shot the father in the face and not at the back of the car.

You have the right to express yourself but must be ready for the reaction

You have the right to own a gun but you must be RESPONSIBLE

at 4am, dami pa lasing at stoned nyan.
