It makes me wonder what the character of Geralde was. Was he aggressive as what Tonto said? Was it a case of dalawang matapang nagcruz ng landas? Hehehe

No, he is trying to condition people that he was not the aggressor...

Pardon the stereotyping, but most road bikers are aggressive. The way I look at it though, they are both combative. If he had a gun, Tonto would have kicked the bucket too.

Because, according to Juan, you egged him on to hit an old-timer who you had a spat with in connection with that tshirt in SM. He (Juan) said that you wanted to use him to get back at that member.

Garalde is an avid biker & if you have ever tried biking on public roads, even during weekends, you'd notice that some motorists have no respect for bikers. Ginigitgit nila yung biker sa curb & there have been numerous instances here in my area wherein the biker fell on the street because of motorists.

One should understand that most times it's not "NO RESPECT" for bikers that motorists practice.

Eh etong si biker naman, hanggat may pagkakasyahan, isisingit at isisingit sarili niya kahit sa alanganing espasyo / butas just because he can fit into that space. Kahit pa "delikado" to do so. Bikers should give ample warning that they are occupying that space (by the curb). Magkabit sana sila ng busina.

Result?

Solution? More bike lanes? Busina for bikers? Biker awareness not to go side to side with four wheelers?

    Is he?

I drive everyday, i always encounter bikers and never I intend direct endangerment for them, why will I do that? In the end ako ang talo.

What I find dangerous eh they assume na they are always visible. Biking sa fast lane on EDSA without the proper gear and visibility.

Respect begets respect, we share the road pero hindi dahil ikaw ang minority everyone should give in to you.

i agree in most cases, pero sa community i am living and the route i am traversing daily, need mo magbigay. kaya sa nakamotor at nakabike paranoid ako kasi napakadikit nila sa akin, konting road mishap damay sila. sa totoo lang kahit anong bwisit ko dahil singit dito singit diyan, me nabangga na din sa likod ko na muntik akong abutan, kelangan dumistansya, abala eh, nahit and run na din ako ng motor.

pero may nangyari sa akin sa open canel (daang hari extension) one saturday morning - favorite route ng nagbabike iyan from alabang daang hari to general trias cavite. i ensure that i am keeping my distance of more or less 1 feet sa right side kung me kasabayang bike/motor (halos nasa center line) sa gilid ko, lalo na ung sumisingit di sila pede sa gitnang lane dahil mas delikado at napakakitid ng daan.

after the one lane bridge, before the barangay santiago hall, me track na kasalubong (10 wheeler) so i need to go back sa center ng lane, me bike na biglang trip umovertake. gusto ko sana magsorry kahit medyo mali niya kasi i respect them and i envy them. kaso mukhang aggressor si manong na nagbibisikleta tinanggal ang takip sa mukha at hinahabol ako.

thing is, wala na makakapagpatunay kung ang agressor si tanto or si geralde, pero one thing is for sure parehas silang war mode nung araw na iyun and both can be blamed sa nangyari. yun nga lang di naging maingat si tanto kaya (1) bad publicity and (2) kaso and (3) habang buhay na problema lalot me pamilya siya,

To defend yourself by saying you were provoked is stupid. It merely establishes motive, a very important component of upgrading homicide to murder.

Also, once there is disengagement in any conflict, even for just a few seconds, that is already considered enough time for premeditation if conflict is resumed. In this case, even worse, conflict was escalated. More premeditation.

So heres the story of Tanto, muntik na sila magpangabot ng bike. His narration eh may 'po' at 'kuya' pa. Kaso minura daw sya ni Geralde.

Sorry but I don't believe his story. Unang una eh nagbaba sya ng bintana, alam ko usually ang pagbaba ng bintana eh sign of aggression, pangalawa eh sya ang unang bumaba ng sasakyan bago pa man bumaba ng bike yung biktima. Kung talagang puno ng 'sorry' 'po' at 'kuya' ang sinabi mo usually the other party would mellow down or di ka mapipikon.

Kung ako sa kanya just come clean and admit it's a road rage. And ask the public to learn from his mistake.

About the weirdo who threw a punch at Tonto...apparently just publicity seeker looking for his 2 minutes of fame...

    James Deakin "Hi James.

Last June 6, 2016, Erwin Paala aka Bogart / FW/ Epal etc showed up at a Mobility Workshop held at the MMDA theater. This was put together by Bayanihan sa Daan (I am a core volunteer) together with MMDA as well as people from Office of the Presidential Adviser for Environmental Protection, Inclusive Mobility etc. Attendees were people from LTFRB, DENR-EMB, Transport Sectors and some Local Government Units. The title of the workshop:
"Advocating for Road Sharing, Connectivity, and Better and More Efficient Mobility"

He made a scene during the Q and A portion facilitated by Atty. Tony Oposa. He would not relinquish the microphone...the short of it: He was escorted out by MMDA security.

My husband (Rosar) and I have been victims of his memes as well but we opted to ignore back then because it would just draw attention to him which is what he wants.

I too have tried to tell media (GMA) not to use him and even forwarded to them the letter circulated around by cycling orgs against him....but to no avail.

Am hoping this info will help you as you take this MF out. Enough is enough nga.

    More power and God bless."
