Sino dito ang nagmamaneho ng mga automatic vehicles? Mayroon ba kayong restriction code 4 sa license niyo? ako minsan nakapagdrive ng automatic at naisip ko na wala akong restriction 4 sa license kaya kinakabahan ako baka masita ako, pero hindi naman ata mahigpit itong pinatutupad. Kaya siguro madami din ang mga aksidente involving automatic cars tapos ang sisisihin nila ay 'sudden unintended accelaration' na sa totoo lamang ay driver error dahil sa kakulangan sa kaalaman sa pagmamaneho ng automatic na sasakyan.

then you need have 2 with 4 so you can drive a manual car too. pero karamihan 1 and 2 lang pero they drive automatic cars diba dapat 1,2,4 pero di naman ata mahigpit sa ganun restrictions

Nung unang kumuha ako ng license (1998) automatic yung 1 2 restriction ang binigay. so, yup, it is given kahit walang test test, dati ah, ewan ko ngayon. hehe

Dini discuss po yan ng taga LTO bago ka isalang sa driving test. If you have restriction 2, pwede ka na mag drive ng MT and AT.

The operative word is "RETRICTION". It prohibits you from doing something beyond what you are licensed for. So if you have restriction 4 in your license then you are RESTRICTED to driving an automatic vehicle up to 4500 kg. You may not drive a manual and/or a vehicle above 4500kg gross weight.

On the other hand if you have 1 and 2 you are restricted to driving motorcycles and vehicles above 4500 kg gross weight. It does not restrict you to doing anything else, so it means you can drive both a manual and an automatic.

Restriction 4 is for the handicapped, like if you have use of only 1 good leg. You can not drive a manual if you have only 1 good leg can you? So you are restricted to driving an automatic because you only need 1 leg to drive it. People who lost a leg, a polio victim or suffered a stroke fall under this category. People with decreased physical abilities, like the elderly, also fall under this category.

Gulatan lan yan sa TE, pag ikaw ang unang nagulat iisipin ng TE na hindi mo alam, kung talaga naman na hindi mo alam ang una mong isagot sa TE ay "Boss ticketan mo na lang ako". look at restriction #7 i think its longer by 10 letters than restrictions # 4 & 5 nagkasya, eh ang idadagdag lang naman yung word na "only" which is 4 letters only :-)

i have an inquiry. license ko restriction 2 lang. planning to go two wheels ako so syempre need magpractice magmotor. di naman ako pwede mag student permit uli di ba? option ko lang is additional restriction (1). what if ma-checkpoint ako while practicing? cant i just say nag-aaral pa lang ako? di naman pwede may angkas na lecturer dahil mas mahirap yun. lolz

Na confirm na ito ng taga LTO sa akin yung nag parenew ako. 1 for motor 2 for manual and automatic 4 in only for automatic.

So pag nahuli ka then restrictions mo sa license ay 4 lang then nag dadrive ka ng manual eh huli ka talaga

Dalawa lang scenario sa license daw pag nag drive ka ng car

Either "2" lang or "4" .... LTO will never put "2" and "4" together sa license mo

Restriction 2 - Vehicle up to 4500 kg Gross Vehicle Weight

Restriction 2 means you can drive ANY vehicle be it Manual, Automatic, Manumatic, DSG, CVT,column shift, floor shift, push-button shift, etc up to 4,500 kgs vehicle weight. It did not specify what kind of transmission.

Pag hinuli ka ni manong pulis nagmamaneho ng AT, sabihin mo hulihin din yung nag ddrive ng manual dahil hindi naman naka specify what kind of transmission.

4 & 5 are restricted to driving AT only..

No. But I already signed up with my doctor at Makati Med more than a decade ago. I don't know how they will be able to trace that I am a donor in case something happens to me.
