    Road Rage?

As my grandpa always tells me ... "ANG AWAY AY MADALING PASUKIN NGUNIT MAHIRAP LABASAN" ; "PAGBIGYAN MO NA KUNG SEGUNDO LANG ANG MAWAWALA SA IYO" ; "INTINDIHIN MO LANG BAKA MAY PINAGDADAANANG PROBLEMA".

Grandpa, kung naririnig mo ako dyan sa langit, mahirap palang magpaka-Santo kung nasa lupa ka pa. He he.

I think it's not about my ego, but rather I want the offending driver to know that I will not tolerate his ka-kupal-an. Dahil sobrang kupal naman talaga ng pag-counterflow.

LTO orders foul-mouthed doctor: Explain road rage - The Philippine Star
Although I don’t condone road rage, I have no compassion whatsoever for UV Express drivers. They are the worst! And like in the video, nag pa innocent effect pa. There was a time, like 4 years ago in Daang Hari, ginitgit ako para makalusot. So ako, tit for tat, ginitgit ko na rin then tirnes into my village.

Kung nakakainis sila watching them drive from the outside, imagine how they are with their passengers. Hindi sila lahat ganun though but yun ang general impression ko from commuting for years.

^kaya nga nabansagan silang “KINGS OF THE ROADS”. Kagaya sa video, parang wala syang ginawang mali. Si Doc can afford a lawyer, so haul that guy to court. Wala rin mangyayari sa kasong yan. Very hard to disbar anyone in the PRC. Maraming hearing.

Kaya uso sa pinas ang public shaming. Kasi hanggang dun na lang ang kaya since laws or process takes a long time.

^ngayon lang yan dahil mainit yung issue. Palamig ka muna doc. Don’t give Tulfo the satisfaction if he demands that you go to his show or threatens you. Let your lawyer answer.

Tingin ko hindi sya UV Express driver. If you can see on his tshirt he wearing, it has "LTFRB" logo. Meron din syang suot na ID which is not clear enough but parang taga LTFRB talaga sya.

i don't know the complete traffic story. but,
if you're going straight, and you're in the correct lane, you have right of way over everybody else.
if you don't have right of way, you have to wait for somebody to give you right of way. one does not demand for it. one has to wait for it to be handed to you. even if it takes half of forever.
simple common-sense courtesy works wonders in keeping blood pressures low.

no one is immune to bad days and badder days.
it takes a lot of effort to rein one's emotions in.

    and yes.
those seemingly harmless PU drivers can turn into ogres at the snap of the fingers.
"they'll steal your two right doors if you give them the chance."

once, in traffic, a taxi driven by this older gentleman who looked like he wouldn't hurt the proverbial fly, overtook me on my right side, by driving half his vehicle on the sidewalk.
nag-tamaan kami ng side mirror, which folded.
tumigil siya and sat motionless, with eyes straight front, expecting what... i don't know.
i went down, righted his side mirror, and said, "ayan! ok ka nah."
    and i drove off.

I admire you in "reining your emotions"! Unlike me, who snapped at that instance.

Same thing, he hit my side mirror. I honked for the long time, half of forever as you described it.

I opened my window and flipped his mirror, hard! He opened his window and said to me that I should have given way to him. Without speaking, I hit the side mirror again and again in an attempt to destroy it.

He made the gesture of going out. Since I have no way of going out of my car, I instinctively reached out to get whatever I can to defend myself. I did this without taking my eyes away from him, with a sharp looking eyes!

He suddenly stopped, and I don't know why but he was motionless for a few moments. I was still looking at him, intently and ready for anything. Then I looked for what I was holding, taking my time what it was. Then I looked at him again, feeling my gnashing teeth. He decided to drove away, on the other side of the road.

I usually give way, regardless if he is coming from my right or left. But I have very little patience with those who counterflow.

So I really admire you, together with *EQAddict, who while being blamed by the motorcycle driver still kept his composure and let the guy go. I couldn't imagine myself letting go of that guy, who is solely responsible for ripping the tire. And a pair of tires is expensive!

Now that it is in the past, good thing the other driver stopped and went away. The guy is much bigger than me. Considering my small, tiny, thin, body, I have no way of defending myself.

And to think that what I got in my hand back then is a small plastic bottle!
    [emoji3]

I have a lot to give thanks, one is I'm still alive even to a bad guy like me. I hope I am forgiven, by the driver and those who will be reading this, for my shameful actions.
