Viva Hot Babes member Zara Lopez got into a vehicular accident on November 19, on the southbound lane of the SLEX (South Luzon Expressway).

Zara said she was driving her green Honda CRV at a speed of only 60 kph when her car was sideswiped by a speeding passenger bus that overtook her. The impact made Zara to lose control of her car.

Zara's car did a couple of turns on that long stretch of highway and eventually hit a concrete barrier. Zara sustained minor injuries such as cuts and bruises, but the car looked pretty beat up.

Zara was not wearing her seatbelt at that time and the only thing that saved her life was her car's safety airbags.

Shock turned to frustration when Zara realized that the bus that sideswiped her didn't bother to stop or even slow down. She was unable to catch its plate number.

All the ***y actress wants now is for the bus driver to surface and shoulder the responsibility. She also pleaded for the bus passengers to help her in pinpointing the identity and whereabouts of bus driver.

Aside from not wearing her seatbelt, she was also making a big deal about the damage to her car, which leads me to believe that she doesn't have auto insurance coverage.

yeah although that's very minor. tsaka mura lang yun, 500 ata on first violation. She probably learned her lesson now and would always wear her seatbelt from now on- hopefully.

madami talagang ganyan sa SLEX na mga bus nag-uunahan pa din sila kahit sa SLEX na walang pi-pick-apin na pasahero...kaya kailangan listo ka sa pag drive pag alam mong gigitgitin ka na menor ka na lang at wala kang mapapala sa mga yan.....kahit na nasa middle lane ka na ibig sabihin slow vehicle bubusinahan ka pa niyan or mag high beam yan ng headligth par tumabi ka

lagi daming issue ng hotbabes na to... ganda ng iyak nya kanina talagang real tears... I doubt it baka naman hindi din sya defensive driver kaya nangyari yon.. Alam ko marami talagang pasaway na bus driver don pero kung talangang papatulan mo ikaw ang talo.. Iwas nalang talaga be on safe side.

these buses really think they own the roads...malaki sila so they have a mentality of others giving way to them...I recently read that professional driver license holders will now require to have a test again before they could renew their licenses...this may be an answer but again there will be others who would be enterprising and this would defeat the purpose.

Malas lang niya sa SLEX nangyari yung insidente. Walang nagpa-patrol dun, kaya hindi talaga mahuhuli yung salarin. Sana lang may mag-magandang loob na pasahero ng bus na magbigay ng lead tungkol dun sa bus.

Thank God she only suffered minor injuries.

I believe these people DO LISTEN TO THE NEWS, but howcome we always hear of another BUS involved accident after the other. .

I suggest all bus driver re-take licensure and driving exams. .

On the other hand.. I suggest our government make a law on mandatory Speedlimiters on busses already. (30 Kph on Edsa and 60 kph on Hiways) hahaha

It's always good to have situational awareness on top of defensive driving techniques. If somebody's passing me and gets too close I move over even if the other vehicle is still behind.

Of course if a really bad accident happens then it will happen, but it could have been slightly avoided. Good to hear she's okay despite not wearing seatbelt. Could have been worse. We can't rely on ANY entity that supposedly enforces the law any more, so be safe out there.

Wala talagang kadala dala tong mga bus driver nato lagi nalang silang laman ng news...Si Sarabia,then si Father Moraleda tas eto naman ngayon.....Hanggat may mga operator na pasaway di talaga kayang galawin ng gobyerno tong mga to...
