Now that it's begun to rain, I'd like to create awareness on the proper use of rear fog lamps. Some simply don't have a clue what they are for and just feel the need to use them because they're there.
Remember that fog lamps (front or rear) are to be used only when visibility is very poor or fog is present.
Dusk, dawn, night-time driving, light to medium rain, etc. DOES NOT constitute 'very' poor visibility. If anything, using the rear fog lamps under these conditions makes it worse for drivers behind them as it adds undue light pollution and eyestrain.
