    Guys, I need your advice.

And when I got the vehicle, hindi na gumagana yung fuel gauge. Actually this should have been the least of my problems. I brought it to them Wednesday last week. And kung hindi ko pa sinabi, I wouldn't have gotten it by Friday last week.

So I brought it back last Saturday. And today tumawag yung SA. Kelangan daw palitan yung fuel gauge worth 4k!! To think na dinala ko sa kanila in working condition un!

Possible ba na nasira nila yung fuel gauge assembly by just replacing the bulbs and cleaning the instrument panel?

Mamaya kunin ko muna yung kotse dahil yung assembly e orderin pa nila and after 2 days pa darating. I just want to know if it's justified na mag-demand ako na palitan nila yun without charging me anything.

    Please help...

Medyo mahirap sirain ang Fuel gauge. or baka na-disconnect lang. I know some Benz's na more than 20yrs na di pa nasisira ang Fuel Gauge.

    I'll let this one pass.

Went there late afternoon yesterday. As a form of 'consolation' they decided to waive the labor fee. Syempre bilin ko pa din yung component. It will arrive after 2-3 days daw. So I decided to get the car and balik ko na lang when the part arrives.

I'm thinking I'm still lucky compared to the brand new civic owners na may paint problems. Mas nakakahinayang yun. But I think I've had it with Honda. This will be the last time I'll deal with them. Kahit gano man kaganda mga kotse nila and mga ilalabas nila in the future, I'll always consider the quality of their services, or the lack thereof. Nakakahinayang lang talaga...

is your car still under warranty? kung hinde na huwag ka na magpagawa sa casa, sa amin kasi ganun as soon as tapos ang prescribed warranty ng casa, di na kami nagpapagawa s kanila...mas marmaing magaling gumawa sa labas ang mas mura pa....

    Definitely possible.

Replacing the gauge bulbs, usually, will not damage any of the gauges. But if they opened the gauge assembly to clean the instrument panel/gauges, if the technician was not careful, he/she could have easily snapped the fragile wire connections. It can easily snap off during dismantling, cleaning, or even during re-assembly of the gauges.

I should have learned the first time na may nangyaring hindi ko nagustuhan with their service. This being my second time, ayoko nang umabot pa sa tatlo.

Slogan pa naman nila "BEST QUALITY SERVICE"...

I have no qualms paying a high premium for service as long as I get equal value in terms of quality and satisfaction.

Guess what. Honda Shaw just informed me that the fuel gauge I ordered is not available in their plant. They will have to order it straight from Japan and will take 2-3 months to arrive! WTF!!!

I already made a downpayment of 3K, expecting that it will arrive only after a couple of days.

Will I be able to source it somewhere else?
