Nabbed at his safehouse in Barangay Sto. Cristobal, Bangar town in La Union was Randy Madrigal, 27, alleged leader of the Madrigal Carnapping Group.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cristobal.

dapat yan kaladkarin mula la union hanggang manila..........

Sana ubusin nila lahat ng carjacking groups and their masterminds.

For every group that the police manages to arrest, three more will take its place.

"During a command conference at Camp Crame in Quezon City presided over by Reyes yesterday, Angcanan reported that suspected carjacker Randy Madrigal, the alleged leader of the Madrigal Gang, was able to post bail two days after his arrest last Saturday.

"The bad news is that after exerting effort to locate him in La Union, the suspect was able to post bail of P200,000," Angcanan said."

For those crimes, dapat 2 million na ang bail.

We should start treating carjackers like horse-thieves... shot on sight.

Only heinous crimes are non-bailable...

On another note, 2 suspected car theives was shot yesterday in Mandaluyong by the police.

Eh... di ba may weapons ang carjackers? Armed robbery is a bit... a LOT more serious than simple theft.

Robbery resulting to homicide -> No bail (penalty is life sentence)

Robbery w/ serious physical injuries -> 200K (penalty can be upto life sentence)
