I would just like to share my story. Last week, I renewed my license and asked it to be changed from Non-pro to Prof DL. One of the requirements was a police clearance. I went to a police headquarters in U.N. Avenue and I asked how much is the police clearance. The man asked me to pay P100 and advised me to wait inside the waiting area. I asked other people there how much they were asked to pay and I found out na P70 lang ang siningil sa kanila.

so let me get this straight....

you need a clearance to certify that you are not a criminal

but the people who were in charge of certifying that you are not a criminal are themselves criminals (scammers)?

    panalo! :hysterical:

Good observation obviously they do not want to pay their taxes! That goes to show how much in debt the country really is. Who pays for the unpaid taxes?

TAMA!!!

Last time I had my police clearance is October 29, 2010 at Quezon City Hall. I went there past 4pm. I beg the officer to consider me as the last applicant. Natuwa nga ako coz from the start may Mr. Jun na tumulong sa akin hanggang matapos.. Na realize ko na lang nung pauwi noko na binayaran ko pala ung serbisyop nya ng 100 (i mean he asked me for another 100 and in thought it will go through cashier) dahil magmamadali nga ako at papunta pa kaming NBI that time ibinigay ko na not knowing na sa bulsa pala nya mapupunta..

Lesson learned.. Most of the strangers/officers will be good to you to get something from you..
