What's w/ our police force? Nakakainis na. Ang sama ng mga balitang naglalabasan. Ang sama na ng image. Puro hulidap.

Dapat sibakin na itong si purisima. Walang move na ginagawa.

Aquino defends PNP chief

President Benigno S. Aquino III on Friday defended Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Alan Purisima from critics following calls for Purisima’s resignation for the spate of crimes in the country.

In his speech at the Agenda Setting Dialogue with Partners in Malacanang Friday, Aquino said there has been a big improvement in the PNP under Gen. Purisima.

He noted the arrest of the suspects in high profile cases such as that on the slay of international car race driver Enzo Pastor; the slay of Urbiztondo, Pangasinan mayor Ernesto Balolong; the killing of hotel chain owner Richard King, as well as the arrest of fugitives like retired Maj. Gen. Jovito Palparan and NPA leaders Benito and Wilma Tiamzon.

“Totoong may scalawags pero sino ba nanghuli sa mga nang hulidap sa Edsa? Mga pulis din po, sa pamumuno ni Gen. Purisima [It is true that there are scalawags but who arrested those who are responsible for the hulidap in Edsa? The policemen themselves, led by Gen. Purisima],” Aquino said.

“Ang nag imbestiga at tumugis at nakadakip sa mga salarin na ngyon ay kinasuhan na, kapwa nilang mga pulis [Those who investigated and ran after the suspects are also their fellow policemen],” he said.

hindi mo talaga masisisi ang ilan nating kababayan na umalis ng pilipinas. Isa lang to sa mga maraming rason. Yung inaasahan mong magproprotekta sa yo yung magpapahamak pala sa yo. At hindi to isolated case sa police force natin - mula sa maliit na bagay katulad ng kotong hanggang kidnapping.

Natatandaan ko nung college kami. Galing kami sa gimik. Pauwi na. Dalawang kotse kami. Nagkamali kami ng pasok sa isang one way street bigla na lang may umilaw na police car (manila police) at hinarang kami. Labas yung 4 na pulis sa police car may mga armalite. Hinuhuli kami dahil one way daw yun. Tapos baka nainom at nagdrudrugs pa daw kami. End up nagpapasuhol lang pala. Kung ayaw daw namin maabala magbayad na lang daw kami. Ayun 5k nakuha sa amin. Lahat kami kasi student pa at natakot sa mga pulis na may armalite.
