^ Pwede naman ang deflector. Kitang kita siya, kasi clear naman yung glass. Pangit yung mga dati, commonly seen sa late 1990's car ... yung beige na yung plate cover dahil yata sa dumi o kalumaan nung cover.

Napansin ko lang yang mga tinted plate covers after reading this thread and true enough, yesterday while driving I saw an innova with tinted plate covers.
Nung papalapit kami sa kanya, I read his plate as *VM, di masyadong kita yung taas because of reflected light and shadows. When we got nearer, *DM pala.
Could this also be true for non-tinted acrylic plate covers? I don't know but I intend to find out. Observe pa ko ng ibang vehicles... acrylic kasi yung sa min e.
kahit acrylic cover na may kulay o tinted hampers visibility og the plates.
I don't think the clear plates are the ones being targeted by this operation.
It's just those with tinted/angled plates.
Never been pulled over for having a plate cover (using the same ones as the ones shown in the above pic) and I don't think I ever will, as long as hindi lumabo yung loob.![]()
ganyan ding gamit kong cover sa plate for our sportivo, so far nde pa nman ako napapara kahit magpaikot ikot ako sa makati
