napanood ko nga ito. sad to say pero kelangang sundin. nakakainis lang e pati mga clear ipinagbawal na. dapat yung mga colored and smoked covers ang ipagbawal.

Nakakabit pa clear plate cover ko sa auto. Sa bahay ko na tatanggalin, sana walang makasalubong na buwaya.

^^ Was thinking about that as well... just remove the lens but keep the housing and frame. It can still help protect the the plate but more importantly, reduce chances of injuring crossing pedestrians. The sharp edges on a naked plate can snag clothing, bags, or flesh.

But I think it's going to be subject to interpretation on the legality of whether the housing and/or frame will still be considered a form of tampering.

EDIT: Ah, well, bawal na talaga... kahit backing di na pwede. Lalo na kung may frame na pumapalibot sa plate.

pwede pa rin naman gawing maporma kotse mo kahit na walang plate cover/accessories. hindi madadala ng plate cover kung pangit ang sasakyan mo.

because these plate accessories reduce the readability of the plates.
the only purpose of these plates, is for identification of the vehicle. anything that reduces plate readability, should be deemed as illegal.

matagal nang bawal ang maglagay ng kahit anong klaseng plate cover or accessories. wala kasing nahuhuli kaya akala ng marami, hindi bawal. this is one of the most often overlooked regulation. ang binago lang, nilakihan yung multa para sundin na. mukhang effective naman yung strategy so far
