Saw this on the news sa channel 7 but di ko makita video sa website nila and found that they also featured the same story sa Ch 2. Mas ok sana yung feature ng Ch 7 eh.

Angas ni officer. Dapat pinutukan na. Biglang tumapang nung marami na sila.

Caught the video of this in 24-Oras, the guards were accosting an illegally parked vehicle along Ortigas Center in Pasig, which happened to be driven by a Pasig policeman who claims to be in a mission of some sort. He became agitated when the guards are asking him to move his car.

That's the problem here in our country, just because you wear a uniform and have a badge you yield power and should be given privileges. Now we ask if there is still hope for RP? Take a look at this and you get your answer.

Agree with this one. The security guards would be justified if they blew the brains out of the policeman.

Policemen have to coordinate BEFOREHAND with the security personnel for any such ops. Otherwise, we'd see robbers pretending to be cops just going anywhere without being questioned (a la Greenbelt/Rolex).

FYI most of the Ortigas Center Security guards (those in black uniform with orange reflector vests) are actually arrogant. Nagkataon lang na nagkabanggaan parehong tigas tigas, though in this case of course mas maangas yung Pulis.

The security personnel were also wrong. What they should have done was call up the police station in their area and requested for a police presence. There was no evident danger at up to the time they asked the cop to move. If there was a clear sign of danger, then they can shoot it out; but since there was a question on the cop's identity, they should have sought the assistance of police and not tried playing hero.

If the undercover(?) cop was indeed on a mission, he would definitely talk to fellow cops, but knowing how cops look down on security guards, he'll never accept being accosted by them. But yeah, that Police Inspector was also stupid because if he indeed was on a mission, he shouldn't be doing something that calls attention to himself. He should have been discreet.

At the end of the day, the security personnel were stupid for not having a clear cut knowledge of the rules of engagement, and the Police Inspector was stupid for acting the way he did.

a NO PARKING zone ........ is and will always be a NO PARKING zone.

thats' the bottomline of this issue .... commonsense is not very common nowadays.
