Wala pa akong nakitang thread similar to this one.. siguro meron din naka-experience similar to mine..

On a positive note muna.. I appreciate the guards on parking lots / office parking lots who check inside the vehicle's trunk, inside, even underneath for everybody's security...

This parking area that I most of the time park my vehicle always checks all vehicles coming in for security kaya lang ang hindi ko talaga maintindihan.. after they close my rear door... (not trunk since my vehicle is a van.. so it has a door handle to open and close) they re-open it and close it again hard...

uulitin ko... after they close the door.. they open and close it again hard...

hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit nila bubuksan pa ulit.. nakaka-irita talaga... ang masama pa nito dahil sa pag bukas-sara nila ng mabigat.. and closing the door not using the handle, nagkakaroon tuloy ako ng mga small dents dahil sa pressure na ginagawa nila...

hindi rin naman nila pwedeng sabihin na hindi nasarado yung pintuan ng maayos dahil yung inside/room lights ko nag iilaw pag naka bukas ang pinto and it turns off automatically when the door is closed properly.. where they can see it very clearly at siguro naman sa dami ng nag-pa-park dun, at sa araw araw na ako nag pa-park alam nila ang mga pag bukas at pag sara ng sasakyan.

nakakabwiset na simula ng araw para sakin.

Buksan mo na lang ng kaunti ang bintana mo,- para the first time nilang isara ang rear hatch mo,- solid ang pakiramdam nila.

O, pagkasara nila the first time,- sabayan mo kaagad ng central lock.

May mas malala pa dyan, imagine yung mga naka hi end na luxury cars na automatic ang pag open ng hatch or ng trunk and automatic din ang close...then the guard, after inspection e pipilitin itulak pasara, tapos pag naramdaman nila na parang nanlalaban yung trunk mo e (kasi nga automatic), lalakasan pa tulak.

As an owner alam mo naman na di sanay malamang ang mga guards sa mga automatic close na trunk, so syempre mag sasabi ka na wag itulak at kusang sasara yan, pero parang walang narinig..

I once had an office mate who got irked when the mall guard slammed shut his trunk cover.
What he did was he got out of the car and let the guard sit on the drivers' seat. Then he opened his trunk and slammed it shut so that the guard could hear and feel the effect of what he did. Nag sorry yung guard afterwards.

That was a very long time ago pa. Now, as much as I'd like to copy what my friend did, hindi na practical. Sigurado I'd cause a long backlog sa pila papasok sa mall and marami pang magagalit sa akin.

I also notice something about these guards at the parking... whenever I drive an SUV, they are careful when closing the doors, even if I'm just in T-shirt and jeans. However, when I bring a sedan (an Altis), there is a greater tendency to slam the doors/trucks harder, even if I'm wearing business clothes. Does anyone experience this as well?

There is one pet peeve I'd like to add as well... those inspections that utilize a K-9 unit. I have nothing against dogs. In fact, I like dogs. What I can't stand is when they let smelly, drooling dogs conduct the inspection. Thrice I've had this bad experience, where the dog even left muddy paw prints in the baggage area, not to mention bad dog odor smell. Once, a bag of mine got dog drool on it. Dang! That is why when I sense the dog they're using is unkempt or dirty, I really make it a point to tell the guards about it and that I will get pissed if my stuff gets contaminated.

Ayun, dimple yung trunk!!! Grrr!

In my case it's different. My trunk can't be opened from the inside of the car (no lever) so you basically need the keys to open it.

What I usually do is just open my rear left door so they can check that instead, anyway that "checking" basically isn't worth anything really. Most of the time the security guards wouldn't mind, pero merong masyadong matapat sa trabaho nila na gusto talaga manghassle pa, who will force you to close the engine and get the keys so can they can briefly open it. Most of the time pa, after nila buksan, hindi na nasasara ng maayos or hindi nallock.

Karamihan ng ganyan sa Megamall, like last night pinipilit nanaman ako buksan. I wasn't in the mood anymore and just drove away from the guard and got the ticket from the girl in the stand.

Add to this yung mga maririnig mo na lang "thunk!" natamaan na ng kuko yung base ng door handles.

Oo nga. Problem is until now, they have not thought about it yet kaya check pa rin sila ng check sa trunk. Bwahahaha!

had this funny experience before, using my Pajero Gen2, wala siyang 3rd row seat so mga makukulit kong pamangkin nag-upuan sa floor.

Parking guards that don't know how to close the trunk/doors properly...
