Tire valve caps stolen at Podium Basement Parking

I normally spend part of every Saturday going to Megamall as part of my routine for almost 2 years now. Apart from the normal questions by the car wash boys for a car wash, i had no problems till this Saturday.

After spending 3 hours at Podium and Megamall, I was shocked to discover that two of my tire valve caps were stolen. They were on the front and rear tires on the drivers side. Funny, although my mags are old school Tom's, those caps were just garden variety chrome plated ones that i bought at Concorde.

I could imagine this type of situation happening if i parked at the openair parking lot but not in Podium basement.

It's a common thing that tire valve caps...especially the chrome ones are eye catchers...so it's very tempting to steal them...What I do is to use a wrench size 10mm to tighten the caps so that the culprit could'nt steal it right away...he should have a wrench with him and passers by could spot that he is acting suspiciously and will get their attention....since I did this no caps were stolen from me na

kainis nga yang gawa ng mga ugok na makati ang kamay. ako 4 times na siguro ako nagpalit ng tyre valve caps at lagi na lang nawawala.

anyway, since 2 ang nawala kung hindi yung roving guard e sigurado isa sa mga motorcycles na nakapark malapit sa car mo ang kumuha.

Ang kaso,- pati ang mga ito,- tinitira pa rin!!!

wala pa ko nakita locally. binili ko lang sa ebay, tapos shipped sa kakilala sa US at binitbit na lang pag-uwi.

Same here. Akala ko safe na yung plastic tire caps. Anak ng hueteng, mga walang patawad mga kawatan dito

ganyan talaga kahit saan merong magnanakaw, same with me isang side ang nawala kaya ang ginawa ko bumili ako ng same valve cap 99 pesos sa CARS and TRUCK para pag nawala uli meron pa akong reserve na 2. dami talag makati ang kamay.

that's why i use those black plastic cheapo ones. kaya kahit manakaw ok lang. tip: buy them from bicycle stores. i get them at P5 each hehe... one time binigay na lang sa akin nung nagbabantay.

Had my chrome ones stolen in front of my house and also had plain ones stolen in other places like the parking lot at work, all in the US so it happens anywhere not just RP.

Losing caps is the least of my worries in motoring.

ako din po ganyan din gamit ko,yung nabibili sa bike store,mura pa wala kapang takot mawala.

i had the same experience sa greenhills parking lot. Buti na lng almost 25 petot lang ang price ng 1 tire valve cap. Magsawa sila magnakaw, wag lang sila papahuli sa akin, il give them a bonus... A full metal jacket round, hehehe

ako din lately lang dito sa robinson lipa nanakawan ng dalawang tire valve caps, kaya ngayon bumili na lang ako ng plastic napamahal pa ako 50php bili ko isang set meron pala na 5 pesos lang ang isa..
