My Honda 2000 while park was hit and run last year by a jeep while withdrawing from an ATM, the total damaged estimated by the Insurance Company was 18K. Casa/shop should conform to the cost estimate by Insurance company. My participation was pegged at 2,000 and no additional cost since my car is still 3 yrs old.

I think, Insurance companies are getting the damaged/replaced parts from the shop or from casa.
