And follow up question, kung mamahalin car dala mo like an Expedition or Range Rover paparahin ka parin ba? Or mas unlikely?

sure pwede makulong yung pulis... but then, you'll be dead, or a useless vegetable. wala ka na pwede sindakin sa heaven, at yung GF/asawa mo hahanap ng iba. is it really worth it para mapahiya lang ang isang pulis.

my opinion... be professional lang. be polite. kahit parang tinatarando ka na.

and yes, bihira parahin ang mga expedition. big cars like the camry and accord bihira din parahin.

afaik there are times they flag down vehicles without any violations, lalo sa manila yung mga MTPB grabe yang mga yan hanggat magagatasan ka gagatasan ka. for an instance along abad santos nataon pagtawid ko ng intersection nag dilaw yung ilaw, as i crossed the other side of the intersection pinara na ako, tinabi ko yung oto.. then here comes the MTPB dapat daw huminto na ako.. i asked him why? kelan pa naging stop yung dilaw? and meron bang beating the yellow light? he keeps on arguing to the point na pinagbigyan na ako.. sabay bawi na "Ay sir wala ka pala seatbelt violation yan" sabi ko hanep naman, from beating the yellow light ngayon seatbelt? c'mon! to think tinanggal ko yung seatbelt ko after tinabi ko yung oto.. panalo diba? minsan malalamangan ka pag hindi ka lumaban eh.. about your reply regarding the policeman of course babastusin mo ba naman ang pulis? syempre hindi, yet il be polite not to the point na para kang aaanga anga..

if i was doing some thing wrong, what i do is just say sorry and be polite and hope that the officer will just let me go with a warning. pero if i didn't do any thing wrong then i will of course argue with the officer but in a diplomatic way, unless mayabang at naninidak na yung nang huli sakin eh ibang usapan na yon. what i usually say is sino ka ba, ano position mo, san ka naka assign at sino head officer mo? when i say that medyo nag dadalawang isip na agad kahit pulis pa.

usually you can do this kung may kilala ka din na pulis na mataas ang posisyon, kalakaran na rin kasi yan padri-padrino..

Oo nga nahuli kasi kami twice recently sa pasay. Yung first inabotan nalng P500 kasi pauwi na kami Baguio. Yung second Nakakaasar yung humuli sa may NAIA, nagsermon tapos masama talaga tono so sabi namin ticket nalang and kinuha license. Nabibili ba yun? Hehehe... I'm planning to move to Manila kasi pero natatakot na ako ngayon magdrive jan iba kasi ang kalsada dito sa Baguio e. Suggestions lang po or tips. Thanks for the replies

haha, took the words right outta my mouth.

i can't believe hanggang ngayon may naglalagay pa sa pulis. panay angal natin sa corruption pero tayo mismo naglalagay. if you participate then you contribute to the problem.

    walang counterflow! walang wangwang!

this is the best advice, never argue na lang. and most of the time the officers will just let you go with a warning if you we're nice to them.

also best thing to do if you go through the same route every day, know the traffic enforcers that are assigned in that place, usually every day sila sila lang din ang nan don and never change. what i do is babatiin ko lang sila and konting kwentuhan tapos minsan abot 50 pesos pang miryenda, ngayon pag coding ako di na ko hinuhuli ng mmda sa edsa cubao and yellow boys sa cubao aurora kahit stop light and no left turn or u-turn pwede na din basta maluwag.

NICE! Ok yung kilalanin mga enforcers a, I'll definitely try that one. And oo nga mali siguro talaga itry mangsindak and hindi ko rin siguro kaya yun at mejo takrot ako kaya nice approach nalang. Hahaha...

    Ano gusto mo palabasin ?

That drivers here in the Philippines are not disciplined enough that each and every one of them are flagged down and offered bribe ?

Ako I admit, I did pay before sa pulis. But one relative of mine didn't. You'll call him a hypocrite ? Shame on you.

Ang baba ng tingin mo sa pinoy. As if hindi ka rin pinoy.

If you call one a hypocrite for not " experiencing " such encounters then what should I call you ... ?

Ang gusto mo ata palabasin e, PEOPLE WHO GET FLAGGED DOWN SHOULD BE BRIBING INSTANTLY, IF THEY DON'T THEY'RE HYPOCRITES

Come on, some are disciplined enough to follow the law and don't give bribes.

People are not like you, or for us in that matter. Kaya don't think that others act the same way as you do. Cause they dont.

I just remembered this incident which happened about 2 weeks ago. A traffic enforcer in the middle of the Sucat Interchange was signaling for my lane to go through, and he was pumping his hand signifying I should hurry so I gunned my engine... then here comes the TE stationed on my left, the one taking care of vehicles coming from the SLEX going to Sucat: he was signaling me to stop! I quickly looked at the other TE and he was still making the "come" gesture so I ignored the one on my left.

When I was about to pass him (the one on my left), he emphatically raised his hand near my windshield so I finally decided to stop. I shook my head, thinking "Ang gulo ng mga to a."

Suddenly the TE on my left stared angrily at me like I did something wrong. Finally I've had enough and I pulled down my window and told him, "Bakit ganyan kang tumingin? Parang ako pa'ng may kasalanan a. Mag-usap nga kayo ng kasama mo. Pinapa-go nya ko.

He approached me, looked inside my vehicle, then said "Kanina pa kita pinapahinto e!"

    That did it.

I lost my temper and started shouting, "E magkaiba nga ang sinasabi nyo e! sino ba ang masusunod sa inyo?!" He was also raising his voice, but he kept on insisting he was signaling me to stop. Realizing I was making a scene, I finally had to say: "Ano ang pangalan mo? I told him some more lines I couldn't remember.

I took out my pen and asked my wife for a piece of paper to write his name on, when he stood up and walked away. He talked to another TE manning the bridge going to the east side of the service road and he kept pointing at me. The TE there scratched his head, talked angrily to the TE I was harassing, then signalled his lane to stop. He pointed at my car then signalled me to proceed going to the SLEX. I was expecting to be pulled over when I reached their side but they never signalled me again and the TE I was talking to was going back to his post so I proceeded going to the tollbooth.

I realize I let my anger get out of hand but the way he stared at me after I stopped really was offensive. And there I was, just trying to decide which one of them I should follow...

I was thinking he realized he was wrong and just wanted me out of his hair, that's why he asked the other TE to let me through even though it wasn't our turn yet.

Or binibilang din nila and may suspension talaga pag 3rd?
