here's a photo i took while waiting for my turn at the SLEX toll exit of filinvest.

i can't figure out why SLTC is taking such a long time to repair the damaged asphalt. the expansion work of the SLEX is already causing traffic to motorists and still they can't patch up this small area of the road. it's been like that for months now.

This is the south bound... yung toll exit na ginawa when they "temporarily" closed the Filinvest SouthBound exit. Exit just before the viaduct.

sorry for not mentioning the exact location earlier, yes, this is in the south bound part of SLEX. the temporary alabang-filinvest exit.

the first two lanes to the right are occupied by cars exiting here thus causing a slow driving pace. and only the left most lane is available for those heading further south.

This is called Bunye Road. Ang PNCC ang galing mag collect and mag increase ng fees pero ang bagal pag dating sa maintenance.

Suggestions for the South Station Exit:

Since the Tollgate has 4 lanes, why don't they make the rightmost lane the E-Pass lane, the one immediately to the left of it the exact toll lane, and the one to the left of that the normal lane, with the leftmost one the bus E-Pass lane? Here's why:

Buses going to Metropolis/Alabang Market always irritatingly drop off passengers right after the E-Pass lane, blocking all traffic all the way to the Expressway. Also, most E-Pass users prefer to take Bunye road straight to the Alabang-Zapote Road anyway, so making the rightmost lane the E-Pass lane makes sense as they will no longer swerve to go the road of their destination. Anyway, those who want to go to Festival Mall can just turn left onto the road with South Supermarket on it and Left again on Commerce Avenue.

Another question: what's going to happen to the original Filinvest Southbound exit? They narrowed it to one lane! Unless they make that an E-Pass only lane, then traffic will be backed up all the way to Alabang exit! Grrrr....

    Here's my suggestion :

    1. Maintain the e-pass lane on the leftmost tollbooth. So that those e-pass holders can take advantage of faster exits by merging at the last moment with the rest of the cars exiting.
    2. Exact-payment-only tollbooth and two regular tollbooths,- anywhere they please.

    > All vehicles exiting the South Exit should queue on the rightmost(outermost) lane of SLEX, except those e-pass holders. Just the like the C5 exit.
    > Buses are not allowed to offload passengers right after the tollbooths.
    > There should be a barrier for e-pass holders vs. the rest, just like the exit going to C5. No e-pass and your on e-pass lane,- park after the tollbooth and pay the fine.
