Ibig yatang sabihin ni RedHorse, ano ang ginagawa ng isang government-issue Fortuner sa isang shopping mall on a Sunday? Hindi ba for official use only ang mga sasakyang may red plates?
and gov't is asking us to pay more taxes so they can buy more gas guzzling suv's ... they call on the citizens to tighten our belts in this time of crisis tapos sila bagong fortuner... nak ng &*&%^#$$#%##
usually... ang SUV / midsize sedan is reserved for the head of a commission / department / etc. kapag mga director lang eh hanggang AUV / pickup lang ang budget.
plus, ang tagal2 naka SUV ng mga taga gov't... dilaw pa nga dati ang mga Pajero ni Tita Cory. nagugulat pa kayo.
Anak ng baka... so much for belt tightening measures eh. Since may unit na siya, malamang WE paid a premium for it (unless this guy just decided to put a gov't plate on his Fortuner).
Back in the Cory gov't, the SUVs used were usually either seized vehicles or Japan donated units; not local dealer purchased brand new vehicles.
im not surprise if that fortuner is financed para makakuha sila agad at taong bayan ang babayad ng 6-8 % pa na interest rate ng toyota over 2 to 6 years. sarap talaga ng buhay ng mga gago. tinakpan pa ng green acrylic glass cover para d halata na govt' vehicle.
