hehe, i think wala pa ata talagang batas that strictly enforce motorcycle drivers to wear safety helmet eh...

last year i was once apprehended by an MMDA traffic officer for not wearing a helmet sa may binondo, eh siyempre that time ayaw kong magpatalo, dahil sa binondo, ang dami mga kuligkulig, motorized tricycles na hindi naman nagsusuot din ng helmet mga driver, so sa inis ko, binanatan ko yung traffic officer, sabi ko wala naman tayong batas na nirerequire na mag helmet mga motorcycle drivers ah, giniit niya na meron daw, sagot ko sa kanya kung huhuliin niya lahat ng tricycle drivers na walang helmet diyan sa paligid niya ngayon, magpapahuli rin ako... sabay di na siya umimik, at pinaalis na rin ako eventually... anyways, ganun lang talaga kalabo ang batas trapiko natin dito

well, but for now, i make sure i wear safety helmet na, because it's for my safety na rin eh, kahit may manghuhuli or wala, i make sure na i use it na rin.

ano ba yan.

Request ko is 4... Reason ata is simply because walang available plate ang ending na gusto natin.. Readily available ang 9,0,1 and 2.

My dealer encourage me to get a conduction permit... 300 per week yun... logically pwede mong gamiting ang kotse... just show the permit to any apprehending officer... Yun nga lang hassle na papadigilin ka...

Me too..

66 vehicles impounded for not having license plates

FORTY-EIGHT vehicles and 18 motorcycles that do not have plate numbers or are illegally registered have been impounded at the Camp Crame national police headquarters on Thursday after the "unannounced" implementation of the "no plate, no travel" policy by the Philippine National Police.
    XXX

Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Angelo Reyes inspected the impounded vehicles and said the policy would be implemented all over the country.

Reyes said most of those that were impounded on Thursday were newly purchased, but he added that owners should not use this as an excuse not to have license plates.

"In reality, conduction stickers are only for transporting a car from the showroom to the residence, then the owner is given seven [working] days to arrange papers for the issuance of [a] plate number," said Reyes. XXX
*br733- i think this policy issuance applies till now...

yes, but marami pa rin makulit, and nakakalusot & hindi nahuhuli.

it would have been great if car dealerships can release the plates in less than 7 days.

ok get it. but does this mean that within the first seven days of vehicle release, its ok to use the car if plates are still not available

yes! precisely! the policy states that its good for 7 days, because actual processing pala of LTO is 5-7 days only including the releasing of plate, let me cite the case of my recently bought Nissan GL
    - OR/Cr Date - Jan 23, 2009
    - Date plate Released - Jan 29, 2009
but actual date of unit released - Nov 29, 2008
    - from Nov 30-Jan 22, 2009, the ball is still at the dealer's hands; i assumed that LTO only received the documents on the 23rd of 1-2 days earlier... basta the difference of the OR/CR Date vs the plate release is only 6days--- so if the dealer shall have it processed at LTO on the day the car is released, meron na talagang plate within 7days... agree sir? thanks

most likely, delays are caused by the dealers themselves in that they probably accumulate registration papers on a weekly or even monthly basis before they bring these to the LTO. not practical nga naman to go to the LTO everyday,

usually when you buy a car sa november or december, the dealers tend to not yet register the cars so that the customers who bought the cars during those said months could get an additional 1 year more of LTO registration because seeing as when you buy a car sa december, if the dealers register this ka-agad then lugi k ng 11 months.

they cannot claim that it's impractical considering the money that the customer has invested. they should be responsible enough to keep up with the demands of their clients. moreover, they should not be the cause of anxiety of their consumers.

as far as i know, one can drive his vehicle within seven days from the vehicle's release as stated in the certification provided for by the dealer. what most dealers do, including motorcycle dealers, is that they give the customer several postdated receipts inclusive of certification documents. it is meant for traffic enforcers or police officers who question drivers of newly-acquired vehicles.

Dapat may grace period ng 2 months before any apprehension. Normally, 3 weeks max lang meron na plate if maasikaso yun sales agent ninyo. Kung ending number lang naman pinili ninyo, that wont be too hard to avail a plate. Normally meron ibibigwy yun dealsership sa inyo ng authority to travel or operate good for 1 month then after that kug wala pa rin plate number ninyo ask another 1 month extension from your dealership.

Kung meron maloko na na gusto kayo huliin, get the name of that officer and report this to the proper authority. Its not our fault kung walang maissue na plate para sa atin. We have all the right to use our vehicle kahit walang plate kasi pinaghirapan natin yan. Hard earned money ginamit natin pangbili yan. I can understand kung mismo LTO mismo maghuhuli kasi sila naman talaga may alam regarding plate backlogs issuance. Kung ibang agency naghuhuli for the no plate no travel policy, ipaglaban ninyo rigts ninyo.

1 month na kotse ko bukas wala pa rin. my officemates got theirs last week, excatly 1 month.
my officemate with a new hyundai accent almost three months na wala pa rin, yung tucson of another peer got his
    almost three months.

the problem, due to my kakulitan, is more with CASA and customs and not LTO. i got the info from my agent that
the CSR of my car from customs is not yet available two weeks ago and can't register it at the LTO.

seems CASA is releasing vehicles even without the proper papers from customs thus the delay is really with the casa/customs and not the LTO as I see it...pag 7 and 8 daw matagal pero yung request ko na Tuesday coding mabilis DAW dapat

sana meron na plaka ko bukas or tuesday next week the latest, byahe na ko bolinao with my scarlett :P

    can someone enlighten me.

ang conduction sticker daw valid lng daw from casa to your home. so according sa LTO here in davao kelangan na daw agad ng conduction permit which requires CSR(certificate of stock report) and COC.

required ba talaga ang conduction permit habang wala pang plaka? kasi i have read in various sites already that they are using the sales invoice whenever they get apprehended. may exemption ba talaga na 1 week from purchase of your brand new vehicle? or kelangan agad yung permit to travel(conduction permit) agad agad pagkalabas sa casa. kasi kinausap ko yung mga tao dito sa LTO davao at yan yung pinapalabas nila.hindi daw valid yung 1 week ng sales invoice.
