That's the government for you. No one ever wants to take ownership when something goes wrong but if something good is happening, they always try to squeeze in that they're involved in some little way.
Malamang yan ang next reply eh sasabihin ng MMDA at DPWH na responsibilidad yan ng City na kung saan walang ilaw, so mula Caloocan hanggang Pasay ang ipagtutulakan ng MMDA at DPWH na may sala.
City nga yata responsible sa mga ilaw sa poste. Alam ko city nagbabayad sa mg kuryente nyang mga ilaw sa poste.

What portion of EDSA wala ilaw? I pass by the Makati/Rockwell up to MOA part, parang may ilaw naman lahat.

both replies were actually correct dahil malabo din yung original tweet.
DPWH is responsible for providing the infra along EDSA pero once nandun na yung mga ilaw, turn-over na sa MMDA for maintenance and pagbabayad sa electricity.
EDSA's a national highway. Maintenance should be under the MMDA's jurisdiction.
Buti pa sa QC, ung mga lumang poste ng ilaw tinabihan ng bagong poste ng ilaw.

sana medyo na ispecify ng nag tweet yung locations kung saan walang ilaw or madilim. hindi naman lahat ng portion ng edsa walang ilaw eh
parang iyong sa portion lang ng coastal road bordering the las pinas-cavite boundary.
it's eternally dark there because no one wants to light the street lamps on that particular stretch apparently due to the reasoning that both local LGUs seemingly refuse to pay for its upkeep and electrical consumption
