ANybody here have been victimized by the city hall of Manila already?? like clamping your wheels or rim ata with padlock so that you cannot move your car.. This is now the favorite thing to do of tha Manila city Hall Wrecker boys, they do away now of towing your car to impunding area and instead they do this... Now yo have to pay fine at city Hall in order for your car to be release of this clamping gadget... WHat a way for them to earn fast buck nowadays and at random anywhere anytime... so fellow tsikoteers be careful always where you park in the city of manila... Bagong racket ito ni atienza kasi kelangan niya bumawi sa kaban ng city hall for next year elections...tsk tsk..

I started seeing this along UN avenue (nr WPD HQ) last thursday afternoon. Most of the cars parked there were clamped down.

nakakita na ako niyan sa downtown manila last year. mali naman iyung car kasi naka park sa kanto ng gandara st. and ongpin. so mahirap mag right turn ang mga cars. ginagaya nila parang sa states. tama in some ways pero sana hwag nilang abusohin....

oks lang yan. better than to be towed since more damage to the car may happen.

sana nga wag ma-abuso. kung mali nga ang pag park, e d i-clamp. ust has been doing that for years too

Cebu City is using the Denver type of clamp some years back They will page the owner of the illegaly parked car thru the loudspeaker of the traffic car 3x. If the owner will not respond thats the time they clamped it.

I dont know if they are still doing it, a lawyer who had his car clamped went to court questioniing its legality.
