Need Help in tracing down this criminal

Guys, sorry for the late posting of my accident last Friday. Anyway, nakita na ni Afrasay ang damage sa pickup ko and Otep somewhat has an idea na on what happened.

Here goes...

Last Friday, August 6, I volunteered to drive my officemates to one of our manager's house at Vista Verde in Cainta. We stayed there till 11:30pm releasing a week stress. On our way back to Ortigas (to bring back my officemates), the accident occured.

From Vista Verde, I needed to go back to the Cainta Junction so I took a left turn at one of the openings along the Island since hindi kakayanin ng U-turn coz of the narrow road. Balak ko sana magbuwelta nalang sa isang gasoline station instead of interrupting the traffic flow. Nung libre na, I proceeded with caution. When we are almost at the entrance of the service road (actually nakasampa na ang front wheels ko sa sarvice road) my pregnant passenger immediately moved towards me and shouted na may babangga nga, tapos ayon, impact na. Sobrang lakas. After a few seconds bumaba kami and hinarang na nung security guard namin (kasama namin sa gimik..hehe) yung owner type jeep coz he saw that the driver was planning to leave the scene na nga. Pero to our surprise, dinerecho nung driver yung vehicle niya almost hitting our security guard. We attempted a chase but we realized na may kasama nga kaming buntis so we just went to the TMG station at Cainta, reported the accident and the plate number of the vehicle which is "UJR-956".

After the accident, I asked my passengers kung nakita nga nila na paparating yung vehicle coz I told them na I really didnt see him coming. Sabi nila hindi nga rin daw nila nakita, so we are thinking na either sinindi lang niya ang headlights niya nung malapit na siya or he swerverd from another lane. I know that he didnt step on the brake coz I didnt hear any screeching of tires.

Right now, my vehicle has undergone a door transplant coz punit yung pinto ko due to the gravity of the impact.

Sana may makatulong sa akin sa process ng pag trace or pag inform sa LTO nung plate number. I called them up na kasi but pinapagpasa pasahan lang nila ako. Gusto ko sana hindi na makaregister yung criminal na yun. :confused:

djerms -- if you are planning to file a complaint against this driver (whether civil, criminal or even administrative), its best na ma pa blotter mo ito sa polis or file a complaint with the nbi. also, i am sure may mga tsikoteers siguro dito na nag trabaho sa lto so they can probably help you in getting information on the registered owner of the vehicle. once you get info on the registered owner, puede ka ng mag file ng criminal complaint kung gusto mo

Thanks for the reply and the concern sir. Actually that night, naipa-blotter ko na yung plate number. Mabait naman yung police sa TMG. He made me a report of the accident and a request sa LTO to trace the vehicle. Nahihirapan lang ako ngayon kung saan at kung sino sa LTO ang kakausapin ko.

I'm quite hesitant pa kung magfafile ako ng criminal complaint kasi baka balikan kami and madamay pa ang mga kapatid ko...takot ako lalo na when they go to school, baka sila ang balikan.

Sir, whats the difference be between civil and administrative complaint?

kung na blotter na yun, patulong ka sa tmg na ma trace yung owner. usually if it is a government agency (especially an enforcement agency) requesting another government agency for information, mabilis ito. kung as cainta nangyari yan, baka makuha mo yung information sa lto ncr dyan sa pasig city provincial capitol sa may ultra

a civil case is filed in court and usually ang habol dito ay damages and compensation. an administrative case is filed with the administrative agency concerned who has the authority to sanction or punish the person who is the subject of a complaint. in an admin case, the penalty or damages that the agency can grant is limited by the power of the agency. usually, what the agency can do is to either blacklist the driver or vehicle or refuse registration until this case is cleared up. usually, mas mabilis ang admin complaint kasi hindi naman sila bound sa technical rules ng korte at tsaka, i assume, that the docket of these agencies are much fewer than that of the court.

kung gusto mong hindi na maka register yun, then administrative complaint i-file mo

actually, IMHO, whether you file a civil, criminal or administrative case, i doubt if the concern you have na babalikan kayo is just the same

Sir, thanks so much for the thorough explanation. kung may time ako, subukan ko magpunta sa LTO NCR and give them the reports on the said Plate #.

Thanks for the help. Nagpunta ako ulit kanina to check on my pick-up. Baka daw next week tapos na. Sana nga coz ang hirap ng walang sasakyan. Sila na rin daw ang magpapaayos ng suspension.

Actually, I am impressed with how my insurance agency handled my claims. Ang bilis nila. Mas nahihirapan pa ako mag-inquire sa LTO eh..hehe.

Buti nga at OK yung buntis. At mabuti rin at pickup ang dala namin that time. Sabi nga nung friend namin na nag-assist samin sa TMG, kng sedan daw ang dala namin (which usually is the case...vios nung buntis), malamang may nasaktan. Biruin mo, yung L200 ko na ang naging break nung owner jeep na yun.
