my side mirror got stolen!

bad trip! last friday (may 13) was in manila, parked my car in front of the building where we're staying (in vito cruz), the following morning wala na the glass of my side mirrors. ang masama, since the side mirror of my rexton is not locally available pa and since wheels inc. does not have it in stock yet (na ubusan daw), they had to order the mirror from korea pa! so had to wait for a week for the insurance people to work out the details with wheels before i got it today lang! need to take a look at possibly having my side mirror acid etched... anyone has a better idea?

yup, deterrent na rin sa mga magnanakaw ang mga folded mirrors.

i usually fold my mirror when i park on the sidewalk, then one day, hindi ko finold yung mirror, paglabas ko ulit, wala na yung sidemirror ko. that was only the first time di ko nai-fold yun ha!

pati pala rexton, pinagtitripan. di kaya sila mahirapan ibenta yun? konti lang kasi ang may rexton, unlike pajeros

exactly may sentiment bro.... pati rexton tinira... sabi ko nga either pinag tripan lang or the dude must be soooo stupid dahil hindi rin naman niya mabebenta yong glass... baka nga ask pa sa kanya anong klase car the rexton hehe!

need to goto big berts to have my glass etched. available pa ba this service from them?

better super glue the glass na.. kasi ganun ginawa ko.. ever since ndi na ko nawalan ng side mirror.. kahit makuha nila yun mababasag yun and masusugatan pa sila sa tigas..

i guess i could do that... kaya lang for the rexton i don't think it's advisable to do that yet. kasi on my left side mirror, nahirapan yata tanggalin the glass kaya the motor assembly got damage. siguro na puwersa masyado when he tried removing the mirror. so nangyari i had to replace the whole assembly and not the mirror lang. ok lang sana if locally available na the glass or the assembly for the rexton but since bago pa lang siya sa market sa wheels pa lang available all the spare parts. so on all non rexton cars i guess putting super glue would be a good deterrent but for the rexton hindi pa siguro now.

hmmm anyway kung ganun din pala and masisira din ang assembly mo better put super glue na din para mas mahirapan sila alisin and if ever maalis nila basag din at hindi na mapapakinabangan.. and maybe since hindi nila naalis ang part ng mirror mo baka maiwan na buo pa yun assembly.. mas tipid ka.. and malay mo nasugatan pa yun kumuha.. o kaya may makakita kasi siguradong hirap na hirap yun wahehe.. usually kasi ang mga magnanakaw ng side mirrors mabilis gumalaw.. akala mo dinaanan lang yun kotse yun pala nakuha na ang side mirror.. they wouldnt waste time.. kung pagdaan nila hindi nila nakuha diretso lakad lang kasi baka mahuli sila.. well it depends on the location of the target car..

I Park mo yung sasakyan mo at same spot, tas pa bantayan mo sa goons mo sa malayo yung rexton mo hehe , para i trap mo yung magnanakaw pag tangakahin nakawin ulit yung side mirror mo, di ka maka bawi sa kanya sa singil sa pag nakaw sa mirror mo, pero makakabawi ka naman sa kanya sa gulpi. hehee
