Yesterday around 4pm while cruisin' marcos highway, a st*pid bicycle rider bumped the rear right passenger side door of my vios

    The result...Isang pagkahaba-haba at pagkalalim-lalim na gasgas!

Sobrang laking abala. We have to go and get a police report sa Ultra.

    QUESTION:
Pwede bang papalitan sa casa yung buong door through insurance? I don't want to have it re-painted coz I know it will never be the same as it was when I bought it originally.

Also, tinawagan ko yung Manager ng Toyota, di daw sasagutin ng insurance yung damage since di pa fully paid yung premium when I already issued 3 post dated checks in advance From what I understand, considered as paid na yun! Bakit ganun? Please advise. TIA

    *babnoy...

ganun talaga ang insurance.. you need to pay them in full in order to claim your damages. Your option is to get your post-dated check and pay them out-right.

I cannot see the actual damage.. baka walang 5K ang magagastos mo yan.. assuming na isang panel lang yan. There are good paint shop na kapag tumira you won't see the difference.

IMHO, if ever papalitan yan ng pintuan, ganun din ang process, they will manually paint the door since wla naman color ang door kapag galing casa..

Heto na nga talaga ang sinasabi na "Tyranny of the Poor", if I remember the term correctly.....

Kung walang pang bayad, dapat pwede kunin na lang yung motorcycle as collateral in exchange of cash.

Good bike parts alone go to prices like > P1000. Bike commuters have plenty of those expensive blings on their bike.

Just consider yourself lucky..let me put it this way.

What if the bicycle rider fell on the pavement, hit his head, and went to comatose. I know who's fault it was, and I also know who needs to pay for it.

    Nice one..

Your still lucky.. alam natin na kahit kasalanan pa nila ay tayo pa rin ang may kaso kapag grabe ang pinsala nila.

afaik if the arrangement for the payment of the premium is by installments and there was a partial payment then the insurance is liable. or if there is a credit term for its payment and the term hasn't expired, the insurance is liable upon payment of the premium.
