I don't know. alot of the small shops need this kind of parking. i'm thinking they're targeting these "residential" areas ?

tama naman yung nagticket. Lumagpas yung nguso at likod ng sasakyan. Ang may kasalanan yung lot owner hindi nagprovide ng ample parking space.

Jan sa video si sando boy eh ano pa hinahanap na ordinance. Mali yung palusot nya. Batas na yan dapat walang nakaharang sidewalk.

    .
    in my neighborhood,
the house builders did provide for garage space.
but somewhere along the way, they got converted...
    sala... bodega... place of business...
kaya naman, hayun... sa daan nakaparada.

    yung iba,
    hindi pa kuntento.
    pati yung lansangan, inangkin.
laundry area.. repair shop (ng motor!).. carinderia.. sala extension!

how i wish the authorities would come and sweep up the mess!

Tolentino: We have no control over stickers escorts put on vehicles | Inquirer

Tolentino’s explanation came after the Highway Patrol Group (HPG) arrested two MMDA personnel over their unauthorized use of the police insignia as shown on stickers attached to their motorcycles’ windscreen and saddle box. The HPG, however, said the two MMDA staff were allowed to provide security to the senator.

“The apprehended motorcycles are property of the MMDA. This is an internal MMDA matter. My office does not have any control as to what markings they attach on their vehicles, or even their helmets or belts,” the former MMDA chairman said in a statement.

There's a new sheriff in town.

"Ex-PNP chief Torre named MMDA general manager | Philstar.com" Ex-PNP chief Torre named MMDA general manager | Philstar.com

Well, that a pretty big demotion from being the pnp chief to the mmda gm. Mas lalo na Ngayon na his track record is more relevant to police ops.

Lots of former high ranking officials have taken a demotion when called upon to serve (some though for self-preservation), like VP Leni as mayor, Pres GMA to congresswoman, Pres Erap to mayor and Pres Digong to mayor (standee nga lang).

You're right but I don't think it exactly was a voluntary demotion for Torre - like the other guys you mentioned , but it is what is for him.

But he does need to keep himself in the public eye since it looks like he's aiming for an elected position in the next elections. His "man of action" persona needs to be fuelled and fed.

And also, bbj needs to look good too since he has drawn some flack for essentially firing Torre out of the top cop position , hence, the mmda gm appointment. The Prez took a lot of hits there.
