Is it true na for diesel engines, kailangan magpa-smoke emission test every 2 months? This is according to Victor Lopez of MAPSA. IS THIS TRUE???

Kasi yung officemate ko, nahuli and was given this excuse last Monday afternoon.

Every 2 months? Ok ah. Magkano ba yung test?

sad to say, we had to pay 1k because they told us that the vehicle involved failed the emission test (gee, I wonder why....).

Ingat na lang kayo at areas in south E.way - Gil puyat intersection.

That was June.

    He-he! "Nek-nek mo!" sabay alis.

We tried to ask them kung san galing yung kailangan every 2 months yung emission test, wala sila ma-produce na documentation.

Kanino ba namin puwede sabihin to?

Sa Makati Republic of Binay oo. Yung dalawang office vehicle namin dun sa Makati (Prado - gas at 2nd gen Pajero - diesel) eh pinapa-emission test lagi every two months.

Hinahanapan ng emission test na bago even if two months and two weeks or so pa lang yung latest emission test dahil sa rehistro. Thing is, wala pang three years old yung Prado na yun.

Gastos.

every 2 months, this is very unjust, ang alam ko P300 ang emission test. masyadong sobra naman yata yan. samantalang yung mga buses di nila hinuhuli

i hope they have some kind of a memorandum na pwede nila maipakita pag hinarang ka nila. and not just make you take their word for it. what's stopping them from saying 1 month or 5 days or whatever dapat interval ng emission test, kung wala naman silang pinapakitang kopya ng ordinansa o kautusan, di ba?

    ----------------

Ako, I don't like bringing my vehicle sa Makati - even on a weekend - if I can help it. It's not that takot ako sa mga MAPSA na yan: it's just that ayoko ng hassle.

However, like the MMDA people most of us here like to bash all the time, hindi naman lahat ng MAPSA folks eh arogante at mahirap kausap.

    hehehe.
    hayaan nyo na lang.
iwas na lang kayo sa mapsa.
sana maglabas ng official order from MMDA or Office of the President na cease and desist lahat ng Binay Laws sa makati at sumunod like other metro manila cities.
    sobrang nakakaabala sila eh.

If this is a new law, they must show the law or the ordinance to prove their allegation and another proof that it was published in a newspaper prior to the effective date of the law/ordinance.

    Kups talaga.
