damn! last night while i was waitng for the greenlight at the intersection of e.rodriguez and araneta ave. there is this young boy who beg on me. as usual i didn't oblige. but to my surprise, he poke a stick and run about the length of my ride... damn, i thought i'm the only victim, but saw him do the same with the other motorist.

yup, daming gago dyan. one of them even had the gall to open the door of the car in front of me as the driver didn't leave his door locked. i think he was able to steal something as he immediately sped off.

Yup, very notorious ang area na yan. My friend who was following behind me in her Toyota Corona had her sidemirrors stolen by two individuals and just walked cautiously away. I witnessed it from my rearview mirror. It took to get out of my car, wave my collapsible baton at them and shout for them to scamper away. Sheesh!

What I usually do is that I leave about 3 or 4 cars distance in front of me when I'm driving there esp. at night.

Or I do a rolling stop (ironic term..hehehe) at night. Kung malayo pa lang and I see na red light na sa intersection, I slow down far pa lang and keep my vehicle in constant motion while approaching the interseciton. Tancha mo nalang ang speed mo para pag greenlight na, step on the pedal kaagad. That way, your vehicle never stopped.

Thats why we should learn to protect ourselves. How I wish I had an airsoft gun handy at all times so that I could teach nuisances like those a lesson. Di naman siguro binabawal mag dala ng airsoft right?

i thought about that too...problem is, if someone who has a real gun sees it, they might shoot first and ask questions later.

some, if not most, of those kids, alaga ng mga sindikato. a few years ago, around 11:30 pm, those kids gathered sa ilalim ng kamuning flyover. then nagpalakpakan sila ksi may truck na sumundo sa kanila.

baka totoo rin mga napapanood natin sa movies na may quota sila ng napalimusan, or that they were instructed na kapag di sila binigyan, it's ok to cause damage, etc.

when these kids are taken sa social welfare, pinapalabas din sila agad, lalo if may parent/s or guardians. un iba naman, tumatakas.

I'm interested in this...you mean parang pepper spray ang laman ng bala nito so that it upon skin contact, it causes the same symptoms as that of a pepper spray?

Hmmm...i plan to use it lang naman on those street kids who have intentions of inflicting damage on our vehicles. Roll down the window and shoot them on the butt.

For all we know, it just goes to the pockets of their parents who gamble or drink away whatever these kids earn from begging, or worse, to some damn syndicate.

Lately, pag may mga batang kumakatok eh I just give them a friendly tap on the window, to say na wala (ayaw) kong magbigay sa kanila.

Minsan talaga ang sarap nilang pagbabarilin, o kaya gawing road kill, but at the same time, it makes me wonder where the parents of these children are, and if ever, why such heartless people can prey on these kids and make them work for their own twisted ends. AND THIS IS WHERE OUR TAXES GO!!!

tapos, meron pa sa bible, "whatsoever you do to the least of your brothers..."

    tsk... tsk... tsk...

When I pass by the MIA/Coastal Intersection, there are a lot of kids offering to wash your windshield, I simply wave at them. Anyways I wash my car every sunday so when I pass by that area on a Monday wala nang lumalapit sakin kasi malinis na tsikot ko

OT: Guys if you are interested in buying pepper spray, baton, Stun Gun, or any other self defense gadgets. PM me for details. Thanks

i don't give to street people. yun ang natutunan ko sa erpats ko. i give to charitable institutions instead.

never ako nagbigay sa mga nasa kalye.

same yung style ko sa iba, pag nasa delikadong lugar, di ako tumututok sa nasa harap ko para anu man mangyari may options ako for a quick getaway.

YuP! Ganyan din ang prinsipyo ko. 'Coz when you give them alms, kinukunsinti mo lang ang pamamayagpag nila sa kalye.
