On that model Suburban, the headlamp is the DRL itself. Only newer GM products use dedicated bright amber lamps for the DRL. Other manufacturers still use the whole headlamp. Just clearing things up especially for us who use DRL's.

I don't see the point of this thread

The TS wasn't harassed nor (thankfully) hurt - nobody was.

The truck eventually turned-off his siren.

What's the beef here?

Well, he still used his siren and blinkers and the TS caught up with him later on (so most likely hindi emergency, pang una sa traffic lang talaga)... doesnt that warrant a Goon Squad citation?

Otep, its an US version. '06 series plates and the GMC badging. The local Suburbans came out in '07-'08 under the Chevy monicker and had swing out rear doors. ;)

about sa headlights na nakabukas kapag hindi naka parking break, kaya pala nagtataka ako sa mga SUV's na ito kahit tirik na tirik ang araw eh umiilaw ang headlights hehe.

Correction, I meant '96 series plates and then local Suburbans first came out in '97-'98. AMP... tanda ko na, hehehe.

baka naman police talaga siya.. malay niyo police general. na-intimidate lang sigur yung TS.

OT re DRL:

guys, a lot of foreigners here (esp. americans) turn on their headlights kahit na walang batas satin na ganun kasi mas safe ito according to research. mapapansin niyo most stock motorcycles (when not modified) eh naka-on headlights lagi.
